Its a bogus reason to kill a very useful app to cross promote your own app in the process. Its brilliant marketing for his own pocketbook but also spat in the face of those who used the other.

I wish they would've atleast finished the TW mobile app before cutting out tapatalk.

Id like to say Bob is not in this for the money since he created this site to initially find friends who drove the same truck he did... Idk how much this site would even generate if it were making money...

 

I mean I completely agree with it. For my forum purposes Tapatalk was by far the best, I don't want to see new threads I just want to get updates on the ones I care about already and that's exactly what Tapatalk did for me

 

very useful app that messages other people using your information telling them to join/use the app.

the only time he talks about it is when talking to the 400 users, (less than 1% of the members), how he plans to give you a solution to not using tapatalk.

to me, he's doing a lot of work for less than 1% and should just ex-nay the project

 

if you think Tapatalk is the only thing on your phone thats doing that, you're foolish. Also if you think Bob isnt doing this for growth of TW, AKA his name, you are even more foolish. There is an end game, its not just out of the kindness of his heart. I guarantee you that. Hes one human being, hes not a saint like you people make him out to be, nobody is.

Does he even take donations?
I've never seen a site with this big of a user base that did not ask for donations (add a donation link) or mention that ads would be implemented.
