Rebuildable racing shocks? Why? You going to race your truck? How much time you going to have to rebuild them? :p

You don't think I can rock these?

And this is my team. They will arrive at my house with their trailer shop. Seriously, based 20 minutes away.
    http://rockandroadperformance.com/shocks/

But more seriously, I'm looking at anything from Eibach/Bilstein to Icon or King OEM-targeted options. I did not have a great experience with the Bilstein 5100s on my 1st gen combined with my 881 and Wheeler's 5-pack, but I also did not know what the hell I was doing back then. Options with extended droop, such as the Kings, are of great interest to me with the LWB to contend with.

I agree with this, but I have always just moved the lower shock mount up higher on the axle. I really don't want anything hanging low to get hung up on.

Don't regret your decision based on other people's opinions for THEIR needs. You saw OME BP-51 system and knew you wanted it and got it. Most people cant do that, so enjoy it man! It's going to be a badass setup and I personally cant wait to see and hear about it!

...which is why I have bothered to painstakingly state my specific circumstances and needs. I look forward to the reviews on them too.

Really good input. How does the B110 differ from a 5125, the one that's supposed to be a 2-4" extended shock for our trucks?

Thanks. I don't know about the 5125. However I believe the B110 is longer AFAIK. It's an 11" stroke shock and it allows for the Dakar droop to the max and still fully compress.

You can see pics and measurements in my build thread. (link in my quote, which you quoted.) :D

    Found this on DSM's site.

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-5...tein-rcd-5100-or-5125-series-shocks-pair.html

It looks like the 5125 is the 2" lift spring mentioned there.

    Thank you.
I'm not regretting it. I know I will be very pleased with the system. There is only gain to be found, even if there is no increase in travel.

Installing 2" shock extenders could fix the down travel issue and allow full travel from the drakars. I have them installed on my truck with 5100 bilsteins, toytec AAL and spacers to achieve 5.5" of lift in the rear. Lifted on a budget!taco.jpg Bunce 5-5.jpg

    Wouldn't you lose up-travel?

I am not sure if I lost any up-travel...I did not measure stock vs. lifted. Maybe someone else has more knowledge on your question of losing up-travel w/ shock extenders.

I am running 265/75/16's and it doesn't look like there is much more room inside the fender well. I wanted to run the 85 series but didn't have the extra money to spend on the front to fit them correctly.

Awesome stuff! Don't suppose you took pre- and post- hub to fender measurements?
