I managed to snag a set of the new SCS Ray10 wheels through the group buy. Mounted them today, the 4" backspace solved my rubbing issue with PLENTY of room now. And they look great. It's possible I may get a bit of rubbing on the back of the wheel well if I'm fully stuffed in a hard turn, but that's just a bit of plastic massaging and I'll deal w/ that if it happens.

Any idea when this will happen? I'm in the market for UCA sometime this summer and the JBA arms look to be the best option for me. I don't wanna run uniballs up here in Pennsylvania and I like the balljoint JBA uses better than the one Camburg uses.

    Keep us posted on updates!

I will probably eventually switch my Camburg's over to JBA

Cool! Any advice choosing between the HD or regular? It seems they use the same balljoint. I'm leaning toward the HD just for peace of mind that they are super stout, but I'm more likely to be slow crawling than high speed running. Standard should be adequate for my needs I think. Even the standard are probably stronger than stock.

I agree the regulators and such are a large investment, plus you need the fill valve from ORI but luckily it's only a one time deal. Once you have all the valves, regulators and a high pressure cylinder the gas is relatively cheap. Around here the local welding supply place will sell you a 40 cu ft bottle for about $140-$180, then you own it for good with no rental fees. To fill the bottle with nitrogen is only about $17. Although the ORIs use a very high pressure the volume is very small in the strut body so 40 cu ft should give you many fill ups and adjustments.

So Marlin have any plans for lowers in the future? it'd be cool to have some JBA's to match my uppers, as well as accommodate a secondary and limit strap

I noticed your instructions said to torque the nut to 45 ft. lbs. The Toyota OEM torques to 81 ft. lbs. and the threads are the same. Can you explain the difference? Just wondering if there is a mistake.

Hey Joe, I just got the email newsletter from JBA and it said Marlin is testing out ORI strut systems on WK Jeeps. It also said something about strut mounts for Toyota. You have any info?

I was just looking at them on his website and 255/85R16 and larger tires require aftermarket wheels. Bummer. ☹️

I'm not looking at running either wheels or spacers though. I have 255/85R16's.

I haven't done anything other than OME suspension w/886 springs and the tires (Cooper ST Maxx). No rubbing issues.
