This suspension stuff is boggling my mind :frusty:

I used to know the 1st gen stuff inside and out and easily figured out what I needed with my ARB bumper etc etc

but now...I have no idea what to do to my new one

I want another ARB front bumper, but have no idea what suspension to get

    New whats?

Sway-A-Way coilovers, Bilstein 5125s and Wheeler's 3 leaf AAL in the rear + overload spring

I eventually wanna fit a 285/75/16 tire and run an ARB front bumper...but that's WAY down the road...suspension and tires first eventually

    umm....yes

those look awesome...are they out yet? how much of my fucking money is OME about to take

Yeah coilovers are a def, but not sure I can stomach the price...my 1st gens cost me $600...

I do know that I'll need a heaver spring when the bumper becomes an issue, but not sure what spring rates are necessary for basically stock lifted and then actually having a fucking 150lb bumper

figure stock rates are like 550#. i'd think 600# or 650#. 600# might be on the lighter side.

I think there's a thing going now that if you buy the whole OME setup with Dakars and everything, you get LR UCAs free. I read that somewhere but not sure who's doing that deal...

    @Sandman614

    Talk to me!

UGHHH i know...when downsouth posted up those King coilovers "on sale" the other day...i think he said $2500...i almost cried a little

Total Chaos UCAs are already planned and settled on

Yes this is also important...I use my truck to haul stuff on a pretty regular basis so I need to not have it squat down with a bunch of crap in the bed

still haven't decided if i'm going to do anything w/ mine. could take the 16" 700# off, have the front and rear shocks rebuilt, and put some 14" 650# on there.

well those older WE COs required 3" of thread showing on the body to get 3" of lift off of them. figured i'd try nixing some of that w/ 16" coils, but i dunno if the length or 700# made it ride like complete asshole. at the time i only had the allpooh front bumper and ATO 1/4" front skid.

Can anyone give me good reasons to run a completely new leaf pack over the Wheeler's 3 leaf AAL? I was SUPER happy with that AAL on my 02
