3rd Gen Tacoma Products by C4 Fab (bumpers, sliders, bed bars)

Hey everyone! I just wanted to get a thread started showing some of the new products we have been working on for the 3rd gen Tacoma. These items are in the final stages of production and will be ready to order very soon. Right now I am just going to post up some pics showing what we have been working on. Let us know what you think!

Front Lo-Pro winch bumper. Accepts non-integrated winch up to 12K. Made to fit Baja Designs 20" S8 light bar. Tow hooks for D-ring shackles are standard.
Can be ordered with or without upper hoop.
Requires cutting out lower "fat lip" center section of bumper below grille.

 

Bed Bars- These bars use multiple slotted holes for the customer to attach multiple accessories. Each tower uses two bolts on each side to attach into the bed track to make them very stable and heavy duty. Wrap around brackets allow the weight of whatever you are carrying to be supported by the pickup bed itself and not just the bed track. These will also be available in a taller height than pictured. These bed bars will also fit 2nd gen Tacoma's.
Bolt bracket is 1/8" steel, uprights are 14 gauge steel, cross tube is 1 3/4" OD .120 wall tube.

 

Rock sliders- Complete bolt-on setup. Some drilling required for ultimate mounting strength, but not necessary for light duty use.
Our rock sliders utilize a unique design that allows for a high clearance slider with the outer portion sloped up at 25 degrees, but still offers a flat step plate that is easy to use for getting in and out. We have been building sliders with this design for the 5th gen 4runners for about 6 months now and customers love the functionality of the flat step plates! The step plates are also removable. We use 10-24 torx pan head self threading screws to hold the step plates onto the slider. This allows for the ability to get the best paint or powder coat coverage all the way around the step and slider tubes. Customers also like the fact that they can use a two tone paint job if wanted or get the step plates themselves coated in Line-x or similar product for the ultimate grip and durability.
Frame plates utilize existing holes to fit 1/2" bolts through with captured nuts on the back. Carriage head and self threading 3/8" bolts secure the frame plate to the bottom of the frame rail for the best strength possible.
These sliders fit 05-current double cab short bed and access cab long bed.
Slider main tube is 3x2 11 ga rectangle tube. Leg supports are 1 1/2" 11 ga square tube rotated at 45 degree angle. Outer tube is 2" OD 11 ga round tube. Outer tube supports are 1 3/4" OD 11 ga round tube. Step plates are 14 ga steel plate.

 

Complete replacement front bumper. Requires no cutting except trimming off fender flare where it meets the bumper. made from CNC cut and press brake bent 3/16" pickled and oiled plate. Fits up to 12k non integrated winch. Made to fit Baja Designs 20" S8 light bar (light in the picture is a cheap light used for moch up). Factory fog lights can be used or we can build it to fit Baja Designs Squadron cube lights. Can be ordered with no tube, center hoop only, or full tubing. Center hoop is 1 3/4" OD 11 ga tube. Outer tubes are 1 1/2" 11 ga tube.

 

High clearance rear bumper. Requires cutting off the bedside below tail light area. Can be ordered with or without side tube guards. Swing out can also be added with multiple accessories. Bumper comes standard with integrated hidden hitch. Hitch and trailer wiring plug are hidden behind flip up license plate. Cut outs for Baja Designs Squadron flush mount reverse lights are optional.
Main portion of bumper is 3/16 pickled and oiled steel plate. frame mounting plates and hitch area are 1/4" plate. Tow points are 3/8" plate with weld washers on shackle pin area.
Swing out is made using 4xInnovations Bearing pivot and latch system. Many options can be added to swing out- spare tire mount, jerry can mount, rotopax mount, maxtrax mount, Yeti cooler mount, fold down camp table and Hi-lift.

Your shit is sweet. All the sheet metal quality, and craftsmanship look top notch. I really like the way u did the mounting brackets on the sliders with the gusset going up to the top of the plate, and the mounting holes on the bottom.

 

Thanks! We have put alot of thought and design time into our products! Our rock sliders for the 5th gen 4runners have been a big hit, and alot of customers wanted us to offer them for Tacoma's. The Tacoma in the photos will be an awesome looking rig here in a couple weeks. We will be posting up alot of professional photos and documents for all of the products soon!

I like the Lo-Pro winch bumper. Very nicely done. I also like the bed bars- It looks like with a tad of tweaking on the mounts and a tad higher bar they may actually work with a Bestop Topper (hint-hint )

Yup- I have a canvas topper on order for my truck. Looks like if you extended the portion that sits atop the bed rail farther out, a truck cap could rest on top. With a Bestop I think the folding hardware sits in such a manner that would also work with that.

I'm going to have to do something for my rig- I haul canoes and kayaks and other misc shit all the time.

 

yeah it would be great to be able to fit the Bestop around the bars, then be able to take the top off when needed to haul canoes and other stuff

 

Ya know all you have to do is give me an excuse to drive down there and hunt some birds.....

 

We've got plenty of open space and birds here thats for sure!

 

Any chance of variations of this? IE, no license plate cutout, or with those (vents?) removed?

 

I'd be all over the low pro winch bumper if there was just a receiver mount somehow incorporated for use of a portable winch. I don't like full time mounted winches.

They disappear in certain parts of Montana...
