Moose hillock Campground, 2 locations, NH and Lake George, if you have kids they will love this place. and the sites are private and wooded, the way camping should be. I'm sure you must have been up to Pine Acres also, nice campground. My kids are all grown, 17 and 20, they don't want to camp anymore. But the GF and I do...happy camping and be safe

I would be interested in going, are you taking your truck, or riding a bike? If I had my motorcycle at my house, I would ride it, but I don't :(.

I haven't been to any of those places. We usually are further upstate in NY or central NY when we camp. The Berkshires one looks nice! We have typically stayed at state campgrounds when in MA but we'll have to start branching out. I usually don't even consider it if it has 'Resort' in the name because, to me, it just means I'm going to spend $60+/night.

There are some really nice state parks in the Ithaca area. My girlfriend is originally from out there and from time to time, we camp when we go back to visit. Robert H. Treman SP and Chenago Valley SP are a couple of my favorites.

Mike, how do you like the F150? We've been kicking around the thought of trading in the Tacoma. I've been internet driving them and have begun to price out a s'crew, XLT, 6 1/2' bed, 3.5 turbo, dark blue (blue jeans is the color name), tan interior, 36 gal tank, power rear slider (built in no less), and a bunch of other stuff. I priced it out on Truecar and got two calls in about 30 seconds of pressing enter.

I really like it! Aside from the brake issue, which I can't really blame on the truck, all I've done is oil changes and air filters. I have a blue jean metallic, XLT, SCrew but with the short box and the V8. I get damn near the same fuel economy that I was getting with the Tacoma. The rear power slider is nice! Zach, @guitarjamman has the same truck with the ecoboost so he can probably give you a better idea of how he likes the engine. I love the 5.0, it loves to rev and pulls well. Ask any questions you want, I'm happy with the switch so far and I'm crossing 65k miles with it. I drove some other full sized trucks and liked the ford the best, it didn't feel as 'boaty' as some of the others.

I prefer to camp at state parks as well, but the GF is a different story. Never take the other half shopping for campers, I wish I still had my pop up :(

If I wanted a full size I'd be hard pressed not to go F150. I wouldn't consider GM or Dodge at all

I stopped in and looked at Chebby. 1500 has a towing capacity of 7500ish lbs (maybe 7700). Only 1200 at most better than the Tacoma. For me, it was too much money, although roomy for what you get. This may just be a pipe dream but I'm currently not to happy with the Taco. Clutch pedal squeak is back on the TSB'd assy, SR5 flip seat rattles, and I've developed that dreaded dash rattle at the defroster duct. Then I'm only turning 15.5 - 16mpg. Lost about 1mpg doing the Ping TSB last summer. I was expecting better mileage than this. Fitting in a 4x8 sheet of drywall is a treat too (without breaking it that is). If it doesn't work out, I'll keep the Tacoma and accept it for what it really seems to be made for - off-roader type truck, not a hauler.
