Sadly, I doubt this would ever be a feature that they would allow to be done. Although here is to hoping as I would love to have the back country road maps for Canada installed in the head unit, so I don't have to carry around a second gps unit.

Pretty sure a friend of mine was able to get them onto his old trucks nav unit (think it was a dodge truck at the time), will have to check with him.

Finally figured out a way to keep the Tacoma from automatically shutting off in acc mode. I like to go to drive in movies a lot or use the radio while camping.

Pop the tranny in neutral and set the hand brake. Kept my radio on for over 2 hours at the movies last night.

Well that explains why mine didn't shut itself off while camping this past weekend, I warned my friends the truck wouldn't be any good for music cause it would shut off after 10 min but then while setting up the campsite it stayed on

I picked up my '16 V6 MT about 4 weeks ago and the sales dude said no break-in milage. That's good since i often hit redline in 1st and 2nd gears.

Tranny+hand brake information added to the main post. Didn't know this was a feature.

Just trying to help, I think your sales person steered you wrong. Check your owners manual for break-in period. I'm sure every new car has a break-in period.

As long a you don't redline(constantly) the engine new it should be fine. Pushing to about 4k on the RPMs occasionally in the early engine milage is actually a good thing from the things I have read in the past when concerning things like piston ring sealing. I'm no mechanic but when I read information like that from multiple sources, forums, other sites, and various magazines I tend to follow the advice and haven't had a problem with any of my vehicles.

Noticed this a while ago and I am sure others have as well. When you are screen that shows you the compass and MPH, if you are driving the speed limit or below the speed limit has a light gray box around it. If you are driving over the speed limit a red box appears around the speed limit.

That thing is sporadic at best when it is correct. I've seen it red when I was doing the speed limit or below by 5 mph or so. You can turn that feature off from the entune system too though. The other thing I hate about that speed sign is it is wrong quite the bit of the time since it's based off of the maps uploaded. Here in Central Texas, quite a few roads have changed so when the next map update is released ideally this is fixed. Lastly, when you are in Navi or home/navi mode where you have half of the screen in navigation and half with your radio settings and whatever else you choose, sometimes that speed sign doesn't even show up on the map until you cycle the screen to another area, like settings.

No. Toyota is sitting on the PID codes for the 2016 that are needed to read the ATF temp like they were nuclear launch codes.

Dumb... wish we could monitor temps while towing... also for transmission filling / topping off. Wonder why the lack of transparency... ?

My passenger seatbelt light just came on the other day. There's no one sitting in it, there's no weight on it. What can I check before I go to the dealership? I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the Pop & Lock I installed :(

Would it be cheesy to insert a "ghost rider" reference here?

The dealer did mine. Did it while I had it in for ATF level verification at 1500 miles.
