Just dropped my MGM 16 off at the service department. The service manager was helpful and nice. He said that he knows about the transmission issues and that it's going to take a couple hours to cool down before the check. He was shocked that I put as much grease as I did in the U joints. Also brought up the power steering issue that I added fluid to it.

So we shall see what they say.

They called me and tried to get me to renew. I was pretty insistent that I was going to decline but if she wanted to woo me she could try. came down to like 6 months for the price of two (that's probably $30 like yours) and $5 a month after that. However I also told her I used to be a member and I canceled because they raised their prices and she started saying that if I waited a year and called back they could probably give me better discounts. I still declined. I use Pandora and iHeart Radio, so I don't need it.

Speaking of. Is the shark fin on top only for Sirius or does it pick up radio stations as well? My buddy has a Ford Explorer that has an antenna on the rear side glass and a little fin on top. So I am just curious.

Question, did they take your payment info before you start your trial? or do they just turn it on? I never gave payment info and it suddenly started working...

I think there's something going on with the satellite location or some cosmic stuff ;) . I'm in Seattle and have been experiencing the issue over the last few days and so has my friend. Neither of us drive Tacomas. I've been reading this forum for months as I'm in the market to buy one sometime soon, so decided to finally join.

Not to mention that the dealership probably isn't actually doing the work, they'll send it out to a vendor so they're likely marking up their vendor's price.

It's a free trial that the dealer would have completed forms stating start date. When you near the end of the free period they'll send you letters and/or emails to try to get you to signup.

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
Keep in mind your speedo is now off with bigger tires. I downloaded a GPS speedo app to confirm I'm 5MPH off. So your MPG is better than it reports. Probably not by much.

You can use "math" to determine a multiplier to use and it can tell you your corrected speed. Then using that you can correct your distance traveled and fuel consumption....I drive like 3-4 hours a day, so I have a lot of free time while driving lol.

Yeah what this guy said. I actually don't like the XM interface on our trucks. It doesn't seem user friendly. At least not like the other functions. Also may I say the voice commands are awesome...the 3% of the time you get her to understand you. Yet she still hears what I say better than my wife...

Thoughts on roof racks? I see a lot of people getting the big steel/aluminum platforms, but I doubt I will ever actually use it. I just like the look of the factory one. Are there any pro/cons to either one? Might get a light bar one day does the aftermarket one help with the wind/whistle of the light bars at all?

That looks good. What size are those tires? And tall is your lift?
