I have directional tires so I can't cross them; or should I just cross them?

Haven't you been chasing this issue for a while trying to get the slop out of the steering/front end? Sucks man!

well there are a couple ways. you can either drill out all the spot welds on the bed or just cut the stock fenders off

Might not be your fault.... my fiberwerx bedsides never fit right. They were shiiiiiit

*insert 3 pages of everyones bad experiences with every fiberglass company*

But seriously take pics, sometimes it just takes a ton of trimming and fitting, trimming and fitting, also before you permanently mount them make sure your tail lights fit in the right spot and your tailgate closes if youre trying to keep it functioning. If you're doing a full bed cage with no tailgate and mounting the taillights to tube you wont have to worry about that as much

Yea. It sucks. I feel like I have replaced everything, some of those parts multiple times, and it won't put this problem to bed. It will get better, but I can't get it to feel drive like it did when I first went LT.

I was stationed in Missouri before and I'm in Alaska now. If I had a show like SDHQ or something to drop it off at and say "fix it" I would; but the locals here have no clue what they're doing with offroad suspension. All they do is solid axle swaps and leaf spring based lifts. I have very little confidence that they know IFS well enough to do something I am not.

That sucks man! Only thing left is the column or steering shaft right? Have u pulled the column out and checked it out? On 1st gens the lil slip/crush sleeve dealio causes lots of sloop, couple squirts of the old welder and good. Maybe something similar. U need to take a vacation down here n drop it off for a few days :notsure:

I cut my bed sides off just below the bed rails. Hung the glass on the rails. Like guy said, lots of fitting and recutting. Just be careful with the tail light end. If your keeping your tailgate it will be real tight. I kept mine too for now and the gate sits snug on the glass. None of them fit perfect but you can get it real close. Make sure you bedline the insides of the fenders

Having replaced what you have replaced it seems like either your column is the culprit or something is majorly damaged on the frame. Have you checked the bushings on the control arms? Make sure the sleeves and spacers have the right diameters for the hardware. It's all very odd so I don't know what else to tell you. Maybe like others have suggested is to chase it down with the help of someone else to see where the play is. Pull your underdash trim and start from there to see if you can see the steering wheel move the shaft with the same response. Mine sometimes shifts the steering around after some hard off roading but the movement is minimal and I don't have cam adjusters so that's where mine can be moving.

These are the ones most use, including myself. Ebay is the best place to buy them usually.
