I absolutely love this truck...but the back end leans. The truck is over an inch lower on the left. Yes, even with an empty fuel tank (which sits on the left). And yes even with nothing in the truck and I haven't even hauled anything big yet. I took it in to have my service guy check it (he was stumped) and we walked out in the parking lot and it looks like many of the trucks have this same lower left lean in the rear end. As a new Tacoma guy is this normal? Is an aftermarket suspension the only real fix? All the wheel to well numbers came back level.

Taco lean is normal; your's sounds more than normal.
Maybe leafs are left/right specific and the wrong one's were put on the wrong side.

Thanks for the information... I've been looking at your 3-inch lifts. I'm sure it's covered in depth on the forum but any 3-inch lifts that work better on the 2016s?

If it makes you feel better my second gen leans 1+1/4" more on the rear end drivers side. :) I love my truck and it's okay if it leans.

So with the 2016 Toytec has designed the Boss kit to fit it. We do sell the bilstein 5100 kit for the 2nd gen tacomas that will fit the 3rd gens, but as stated in some of the forums bilstein is not covering warranties for them yet as they have not released it for the 2016 as of now. So we do not sell them FOR the '16s or tell people to use them just in-case. OME has a kit for the 2016 trucks as well. Both drive and perform really well.
So my advise would be to go with the fully adjustable Toytec Boss kit as we have tested it on ours or the Old Man Emu.
    Thanks, Justin

What is taco tick? Is that the noise that the V6 makes when it does its injector cleaning cycle?

    I've got the 2.7 so I wouldn't know.

Here I thought I was the only one!
I can see that working for the front but what corrects the rear body height?

man this lean thing freaks me out

but I have a 2013 and it is dead perfect level...I eyeball it constantly and nope, perfect

I would be upset if it leaned from factory in any way

The front being raised with the spacer will actually more often than not fix the whole thing front to back.
