What is the difference between a TRD sport and xsp and xsp-x package? The xsp is not the same as the TRD sport correct?

The largest difference is the xsp has the 5 lug wheels and all, the sport is all 6 lug. Sport does not mean canyon carver at all.

Ok this is what I thought, I'm dealing with Rough Country after putting on their 3" lift and the truck won't align to the specks they give without spacers(which it shouldn't need). The guy at rough country tried to tell me that the TRD Sport is the same as XSP-X(which it wont fit) and that's why it wont align correctly. Just feel like their feeding me some lies.

I'm pretty sure I've seen pictures of 6 lug XSP trucks... I think it's a regional (southern) package, not a Toyota factory package. Are you a 6 lug or 5 lug? Any 3 inch lift will require aftermarket UCAs, not spacers. A 3" spacer lift will ride like shit too. Good luck with all of that!

What specs are you talking about, alignment specs? Is it a 3" spacer lift? If so you're porked without adding UCA's. And most here will tell you the ride will leave a lot to be desired. Either way this is the best place for advice.

mines a 6 lug and yea its the 3" with the spacers up front, I knew it wouldn't be the best smoothest ride just didn't know that UCA would help the ride that much. I will have to look into getting a set.

Caster L= 1.5 Caster R= 1.75 Camber L=0 Camber R=-1/4 Toe-in= -1/32....the tire shop said its currently aligned and should be just fine at Caster L=.04 Caster R=.04 Camber L=1 Camber R=.75 Toe in= .07
Was just confused as to why they didn't match up with what they said with the kit.

What is an XPS? And I thought after I believe 2008, they discontinued Sport Package #2 and only offered Sport package #1, which is just color matched paint and a hood scoop?

Think you reversed your caster and camber #'s. Once you get uca's your caster should be set near 2.5 or more on both sides. Camber is how much your wheel leans left/right. Caster is how much your spindle leans rearward, like the forks on a motorcycle. GL

Same here in GA. They're strictly an appearance package because they're built off of an SR5 so you don't get the features the TRD's offer.

I guess I got lucky with my 2015 XSP-X. The package is added to the TRD Sport.

So what do I have? It’s a TRD Sport but has the DRLs and fender flares but no interior stuff or xsp badging. I just bought it in NC and appears to be factory. I’ve done plenty of googling but can’t find any info.

You have a TRD Sport with some of the xsp options. Since the sport comes with the factory scoop, you do NOT have the stick on one so that's good.

The dealer who sold that truck just added the flares and DRLs. Did they advertise it as an XSP or anything?
