These are the retrofit kits for headlights and fog lights. or maybe I'm not understanding what you mean. U talking about the blacked out housings?

 

I see...so what's the fix for that? I don't really want the black housings and I hate the look of projector housings.

 

projectors are your only option... everything else aint gonna work bud.

Retrofits allow the hid light to emit properly.

all bulbs emit light in a pattern. The pattern is different from an hid and a halogen bulb

The stock headlight reflects halogen light and is designed for it.

What a projector does it reflects the HID light pattern in the way it was designed to kee from blinding people and it being way too bright on people's eyes. They may not flash you but your hurting their night vision potentially causing them to have an accident down the road because they may not be able to see a deer or a car on the side of the road.

 

You can do all chrome and it looks stock. I'll dig for some pics in a few.

I'd like to see that, just never been a big fan of the projector housings

 

Proper retrofit with projectors or no HID's. Around Charleston I have heard of more and more people getting pulled and fined for HID lights in stock housings.
