Seems like the enemies are much harder to kill in far harbor, so more ammo is a must. Could be cuz I'm set to very hard. Probably both

Hmm I regularly see 2-3 rads of damage in far habour when I'm not using RadX. I'll have to look into the Rad Resistance perk.

I had hundreds of screws but then they came out with Robots and I got carried away. I realise I could just go back to the Commonwealth and get piles of supplies loaded back up but that would be wasted time IMHO. I don't want to spend my time at level 70 playing grocery shopping simulator just so I can have decent settlement defenses.

What impact do linked settlements have.? I thought that was for trade and supplies, not defense.
I never bothered with any of that, and didnt really create huge thriving settlements. I just took care of their basic needs and built turrets for them.
I really wasnt into the idea of all that resource mining. I dont mind it for weapons/armor, but, meh. I did enough of that pointless crap for far too long in Runescape and I wont be doing it again.

Interesting idea, I could screw around, get some levels and do that. I would prefer to run around without the (leaded) power armor. Yeah, less carry weight, etc, but I love running around crouched, invisible/stealthed.

Does anyone recall if they really upped the monsters reaction to suppressed fire?
I swear when I was first playing and using a sniper pipe rifle with silenced 380, I could just shoot mutants silly and they would have no idea where it was coming from.
But that changed quite a while ago. Stealthed and Suppressed fire from a good distance is still causing an immediate charge.

I never use power armour , and yeah I think all the monsters are tougher in Far Harbor

I did capture the Vim power armour though , its in the rack at Far Harbor

Actually, I wonder if I can still screw around, because the standard Brotherhood/Railroad grind quests seems to point to FH locations now. Both a tech search and rescue a synth are doing that.
    Stupid bug.

I'm going to go hunting for the Marine Armor tonight. It's supposed to be pretty OP.

Yeah but even high quality weapons are only good for maybe 3-4 screws... it takes a lot of weapons to build a full set of turrets or mod one of the new Far Harbour weapons.

I've been breaking down every gun I don't like.

Do you have the perk for getting better scrap from weapons ?
