Thanks man, appreciate it! Buying them now. Pretty much, other than maybe
an intake, that I plan on doing.

the tire shop did mention that when moving the TPMS modules over to the new
wheels that a nut/cap would have to be purchased as they can't move those, is that normal?

It's in the first post. Just put 700.00 in the Best Offer section, and in the message to seller section put TACOMAWORLD

Doesn't sound right to me. I'm pretty sure my sensors were moved over to the new wheels without having to replace anything. I went from the off-road alloys to the TRD Pros.

I hadn't seen anyone either that posted there was some type of kit needed.

Seller just replied to me as well telling me that I'd have to buy
new modules to fit the new wheels.

Also, did you need to reset anything from moving the tpms modules
or did they just link up again on their own?

I didn't have to reset anything. Maybe the tire installer hit the TPMS reset button, but I have no way of knowing. I wouldn't think anything other than that would be necessary, though.

I always have like the looks of the Ram, they sound great too. I'll admit I miss my Tundra for it's V8 and crazy amount of space but the Taco is really a better fit for me as a single guy. Didn't need a cavern on wheels or the towing power any more, though I did use it when I had it.

As far as the TPMS deal goes, I'm having my wheels and tires put on at Discount Tire and they mentioned they might need a rebuild kit to make sure the seal is good, but we'll see if they actually need to do that. I know they'll transfer over and that was never a question. Even so it's like $7 a wheel or something for that kit. And $16 for mount and balance of each tire. I should end up with my stock wheels/tires and figure out how to sell those next.

Only thing I'm slightly concerned about is the speedo calibration. Guess I'll just have to deal with it, shouldn't be bad in town but 70-80 on the highway could be problematic even though it's about a 3.4% increase in diameter it could be off about 4 MPH over 70 or so I'd guess. Just something to keep in mind. That and MPG loss. Don't care that much (I got 13.7 in the Tundra) but seeing 19 avg is nice. Just out of curiosity, what have you been getting with your KO2's?

They might be talking about the tpms rebuild kit. The shop I got my wheels installed charged me $2-$3 per wheel for a rebuild kit.

That's what I miss about my full size vehicles, all that damn power! All it did was make
me speed though; I can't be trusted with all that HP :D

the KO2's, I don't even know, I don't even check mpg. I love the truck, it runs great, once
the vibe is resolved, I'll have no issues. And a few mph off on the speedo, I don't really care
about, I'm not a speeder so it'll only take me a few over the limit and I just keep that in mind
as opposed to having it calibrated.

I'm thinking they're talking about the same thing.

Like the others mentioned, the TPMS should just transfer over. It would probably just let them put a rebuild kit for a couple of dollars and trust that they know what they are doing. I would be cheaper if you have a problem down the line.

I put KO2's "C" rated on my Sport and checked my MPH with the GPS on my phone and it doesn't read lower like the stock tires did. Now it's dead on. So now I'm guessing I'm seeing real MPG instead of what I was calculating with the stock tires that were a off a few MPH when traveling 60?

Thx and yeah, that's my plan, to let him know most didn't need them but
there's no way I'd skimp on the cheap parts just to save a few bucks. I use
them for just that reason - I trust them and the work is always right.
