The kit from camerasource.com was the most expensive part. I think it was $270. There's got to be something cheaper out there I was just growing impatient. The camera was only $14 and I think the switch was around $30. More planning than time actually spent doing the work. I'd say if you were completely ready about 2hrs.

Went to dealer for leaf spring recall and drivetrain noise. Apparently they think the deceleration noise from 45-30mph is from the leaf springs. Maybe they are just finding me a reason to get new leafs for me. Also they gave me a new Corolla S to drive while they fix timing cover leak covered under my EasyCare warranty. I'm fine paying $250 deductible for a $1000 job.

I have a question for you guys. I am new to taco world and just need some help. I ordered bilstein 5100's for the front and I'm going to set them at 2.5 inches and for the rear I got a 1.5 inch block. My question is what is the biggest tire I can get on there? I have 16 inch wheels with an off set. The tires are going to be KO2's. Thanks

Are you staying on stock wheels? Are you comfortable with trimming stuff?

Copied these from my build page.
    Steering wheel controls - 84250-04040-C0
    shifter / cup holder trim - 58805-AD010
stereo surround with 4x4 switch knockout - 55405-04090

Edit: The Stereo surround without the vents is 55412-04090. It should be a bit cheaper than the other number listed.

Looks like it might just fit between the wheel humps.

They are made by mb wheels. They're 16 inch and stick out further than stock wheels. I was thinking 285/75/16. Comfortable with trimming

You can fit those, but be prepared for some serious cutting. At that point it's past trimming plastic, and you're cutting up metal. Look into the cab mount chop as well as hammering the pinch weld.

If you want to avoid that (I would) then aim for 265/75r16. It's a little smaller so no trimming necessary and lighter, so your mpg won't take quite a hit. Here's my truck on a 2.5" lift running the 17" equivalent size.
