So an update on the new Tepui Hardshell.....
The tent they had at Overland Expo was literally prototype #1. I asked about interior space on my conference call with them this week and there's no real answer yet. The guys picked up the prototype on their way to the expo, it was that fresh, so they haven't even climbed inside of the tent yet. :) Because it's an early prototype, it's going to be going through revisions and improvements before its release in the fall. So you can anticipate any issues to be worked out and it will be on par with the quality you've come to expect from Tepui. Nothing to share in terms of expected pricing yet.

Check this out. Nice article from Sean McCoy at Gear Junkie about his experience with a Tepui Kukenam Ruggedized that he lived out of for 2 months as he travelled from Colorado to Alaska.

Hats off to the Tepui team!!!!!!
The ladder to my RTT during the Expo 16 stopped locking on the 4th and 5th step and could not get it to extend far enough to lock in between those 2 steps, acting like a spring, very dangerous. Had to wire tie the two together. Contacted @Box Rocket and he referred me to warranty at Tepui. Griffin at Tepui was fast to reply and will be sending me another ladder. Tepui's service is AWESOME! !!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone at Tepui!!!!!!!

Not playing favorites or saying one is better than the other but I know that Bobby (CVT) has done this similar thing for people before.

If you going with Tepui, definitely go with the Ruggerized, the extra cost is well worth it and will last much longer. And most of all, you will be happy you did
get the Ruggerized edition................ Ask all the questions you have to @Box Rocket , he will have all the information you need.... NOW GO HIT UP @Box Rocket !!!

I'm wanting an RTT bad. I have a Bestop and thinking about the rack Eddy at SOS builds. Question for you guys that have RTTs mounted about the cab line. How bad does it effect your gas mileage? Trying to weigh this against possibly getting a trailer to mount it on. Trailers are high though $$. Thanks in advance for any info
