X2. Been years since I've been on a sailboat, and never a thoroughbred racer.

 

The race boats are a different animal, lots of fun. My uncle has always had boats and we'd race with him frequently. His were usually more laid back boats but he had one race boat and that thing was fun! It'd lean over a lot easier than the other boats and was much more responsive. You really had to have your shit together on that boat, minor adjustments made more of an impact than on his other boats. I miss running the races, they were a great time!

 

Meh. Not a bad deal, for what it is. If it'd been up for sale when I first got the Tacoma I might have jumped on it.

 

Happy Friday everyone. What's ya all plans for this holiday weekend?

 

Depending on the weather tomorrow, might go to a state park. Sunday we are going to the BBQ event at Mendon Drive-In

I'm headed to Milbridge to visit my Grandparents and do some yardwork/chores for them and visit my cousin who's staying with them for a couple of weeks.

 

Yard work today and tomorrow morning, hopefully. Birthday part in the afternoon. Baptizing my daughter on Sunday. Watching the local memorial day parade on Monday with the little guy. All while entertaining my bro in law and his wife and three kids since they are coming up for the weekend from WV.

couple of us are riding out to palmer to watch my friends ride the track tomorrow. Meeting up by you rob

 

Looking at campers again tonight. Yard work and house work over the weekend. Headed to watch my girlfriend's son's JROTC unit march in the local parade on Monday.

Yep, yardwork and have some fiends over tomorrow for some kid time in the pool and drink beers into the evening. Then a possible Memorial day party out in Sturbridge, which will probably be a washout.

Yeah the Phantom Gourmet people own the Drive-In. Think they bought it a few years ago. I went to a wine tasting there in the fall (girlfriend's idea) and it was a pretty good setup. Dono if I'd make a trip to go, but since its 5 minutes from our house I figured I'd check it out.
