I guess this was one of those married moments I hear about

Its better to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission.

 

I had to tell my wife about the plans to not use my trusses this evening.

I may have an interested buyer though. I'll cut him a good deal too. I'll get my package figured out and have a good idea for a price. No doubt what I pay for in the lumber will be much, much less than what you would pay for trusses.

 

I'll rather ask for forgiveness

Here's the SOS hybrid with filler plates. I think the hybrid is a little different now though, but the filler plates are a great choice.

 

That's a good looking front end.

I kinda wish I had the full plate sometimes, but I think this looks great too. Like I said, I think he updated his hybrid design just a little where the front isn't as flat and the wings are a little more flat across the top. It looks really good.

I'm originally from Corvallis, OR, die hard Oregon State fan... Married a southern girl and am finishing school in Fayetteville, AR. I'm in this thread currently because I got tagged. Don't worry, I won't steal y'all's thunder in here.

I too, married a southern girl. Always thought I would go farther north growing up. I remember saying I wouldn't go south. Funny how it all works out.

My brother, who is 6 years older than me, and his wife, however, did both graduate from CLEMSON.

They lived down here, and I came down (for a summer) to work with him 12 years ago and never left.

Edit: 13 years, 2 kids, and currently building a house.

 

I've got graduate school coming after I graduate next year, and there's a few places we've looked, including South Carolina. I love the south. When I come back to Oregon now, i honestly feel so out of place.

 

I will never go back to Jersey! Bank on it.

Not that I hate that place, which I mostly do, but I think I may belong here. If not here, Utah. That is where I want to go! I go there once a year with a few buddies of mine skiing. I absolutely would pick up tomorrow and leave if my wife would.

 

I lived in Utah for a while. I'll never live there again. I love to visit Utah, but I can never live there again. Not up anywhere north at least. Great places to explore and I'll do that all day, but I just can't live there again. Flagstaff AZ is another place I'm looking at grad school. Wish I could have gone to the overland expo that was just there.
