    woah I'm in shock right now.. didn't think he'd be stepping down. I'm not a Florida fan, but this is just weird to see such a high profile coach step-down or get fired during such a good season.. what say you guys?

    he said it was bc of health reasons.. the loss of tebow must be hitting him pretty hard. he is a good coach tho.

    heh true... but even with Tebow he never beat US

    i just read online that after the SEC championship that he went to the doc and they found a "mass" in his brain... they said they dont know if it is a tumor or not..

    Brian Kelly isnt coaching in the Sugar Bowl. he's prolly already in south bend. his players were not happy AT ALL about him leaving..

    The thing on his brain is old news. Go read the SI story from when he was on the cover the week before the SECC. It is a cyst that swells with stress. I guess being in one of the highest stress jobs in the country finally caught up with him.

    It's really too bad. Don't want anybody to go out for a reason like that.
