    Ok lets get into this.

I have a few contacts within nest that are developers. I've been working with them for a year now to try and get the nest compatible with my AC system. From what I understand is a lot of their support for 3rd part home hubs are going to loose Nest support, but the Nest isn't going anywhere as they are working on Nest 5.2.X software updates already. If development stops making software updates the hardware support will stop. I reached out to a few this morning to confirm that nothing is going on, plus I want an update on my request anyways.

I miss my Nest, a lot. It's so easy to use. Easier to install then any other thermostat. And after a few weeks you rarely have to touch it as it just seems to know exactly what temp you want to be at. I love the fact it knows when you are gone, when you get home, and how much money it saved me. Around $40 a month on average was my savings on my old unit when using the Nest. It's also the best looking thermostat in the market IMO.

I currently have 2 of these installed at my cabin and it's a total waste because nobody is there most of the time. So it can't really learn anything and I have to disable all the learning features and it's ability to to self adjust. It's now only a WiFi thermostat that I can manually adjust.

If you are a person who has a pretty set schedule the Nest is going to work great for you. It will cool down the house before you wake up, get home, etc. When you are gone for the day, weekend it knows not to run the AC unit. But if you are a person who works from home, or doesn't work a set hours, then the Nest may be overkill for what you need. Also if you have large dogs and the Nest is in an area where it can see them move around a lot it will think it's a person and it won't learn right.

Over all I always tell people this about the Nest. "If you want a great thermostat, that is easy to install, easy to setup, works wonders, saves money on your monthly bill, and is the sexiest thermostat around, Get a Nest".

Just reading that Kim Jong Un's aunt fled N Korea in 1998 and now runs a dry cleaning business in New York.
Well played CIA, hiding a Korean in a Dry Cleaning business in the USA.

I wonder if there is a relative of Osama driving a cab somewhere.

Yeah well my truck sits in a garage more than both of yours! Just sits. Does nothing. I look at it on my camera and smile.

I thought we had moved on with life. I guess it's still not hashed out.

Dude, the last 7 months. I hate all those "fast" shitty places you call offroading. It's just asking for trouble! People get into accidents all the time down in Sycamore anyway. I took out a cattle guard sign because I was going too fast around a corner.

Let's see how far you can get in that Peerunner on a real trail. You'll shread tires left and right before I do. 4x4 motherfucker!!!!!!

@JuansTaco just won't quit his shit. I've tried, I really have. I'm done with his antics. He's all talk, but what has his truck been doing the last year, just sit there and collect dust. He drives his mom's Lexus and thinks he is the shit.

I have gone as far as blocking him on here, and he still won't stop it. I've given up!
