Toyota's touch-up paint

Hey guys, I have a few scratches on my truck and I picked up the toyota 209 touch-up paint from the dealer the other day. The directions on the side of it are really hard to read, does anyone have any experience or know the best method for using this touch-up paint.

 

clean are to be touched up, apply paint in area in multiple light coats 10 minutes apart, and wait 1 hour to dry. Buff after one day, wax after one month. My housemate is sig pi

 

What do I use to buff? I went into kragen and the guy said use 1500 wet/dry sand paper but my roommate suggested a wet sandpaper pad's. I used the 1500 sand paper lightly and it doesn't look good at all.

It won't. That's why you wet sand and buff. The buffing part polishes the clear and helps blend everything in. Also, using sandpaper on your car should only be done by someone who knows what they are doing. It could become costly really quick.
