I wanted to go because as you know last time we went it was over as when I got there but yesterday was my son's art show at his school so of course we went to that.

It's funny you posted up this morning, I was at the art show last night and saw my son's painting. It was done with marker and watercolors.

 

Pics or id didn't happen!!! J/K We had our Artshow last night too. I took some pics of one of the halls before people showed up.

Gotta love kids and their art work! At my son's daycare, they do art stuff as well. He's only 2. But they have them paint and do stuff. I love it when I pick him up and there's a pc or art work to bring home! Puts a huge smile on my face. Love it!

And looking forward to the first time he writes his name. Going to have it tattooed on my body.

It probably sounds stupid, but yes. Thinking about taking the pc of paper that he writes it on, taking it to the tat shop and have them put it on me. Don't know where yet, but that's the basic plan right now. And then same thing for the little lady once she does it.

Not stupid at all. I don't have kids or tattoos, so it doesn't appeal to me personally, but I can certainly understand why you'd want it.

You'd just better cross your fingers that the first time he writes his name isn't 8 inches high on your wall or something, haha!

 

Good point. Fingers crossed that he does it on a pc paper!

Very nice. My friend got her nana's signature across her back after she died.

 

Or take a good photo of it, they can just as easily work off of that.

Look in my album at my first tat..it's a simple enough thing to draw freehand anyway but I sent in a photo and she traced it.

 

That would do it. This is why I don't have skid plates.

 

That's an awesome tribute. I have something like that, sort of. I've lost two grandparents, who practically raised me since when I lived in Portugal, my parents emigrated to Switzerland in hopes of one day taking us with them and give us a better life. My grandparents, as bad as it may sound, mean more to me than my parents do. So I have praying hands holding a rosary, and their initials along with their d.o.b. and date they passed away in a small banner on each side of the hands. Don't have a pic to post, sorry, but I'll try and snap one to show what I mean.

Plus they can change size easily that way. My friend's signature tat is all along her back and I'm sure that wasn't the original size of it.

True. Good point. Definitely things to think about and consider once the time comes, which I'm hoping is soon because I'm itching to get inked up again!

 

You and me both, I gotta get the 3rd colored. Not sure I can manage it till fall though.
