    :rofl::frusty:

    Better MPG's with a HEAVIER tire.....:rofl::rofl::rofl: Sorry, not happenin'. You CAN do things to minimize MPG loss, such as playing with tire pressures, changing driving style (lighter right foot) among other things. I spent a couple months playing with mileage BEFORE changing to current 265/75/16 lrC duratracs. Prior, best was just shy of 21mpg. Upon changing tires, initial mileage was in the 15-1/2 to 16 mpg range. Toyed with a few things and now get 18-3/4 to 19-1/2mpg average. I've had Goodrich and Goodyear. Prefer the Goodyear by the slightest of margins. (Mostly off road differences) Would be happy with either. "Noise" is subjective. I don't mind SOME tire noise. It's a 4wd after all...:mudding:If sound level was deafening, I'd feel different. Just a slight "song" from them @ interstate speeds. Nothing a tweak of the volume knob won't make go away.

    Better MPG from a HEAVIER TIRE! :boink: If that theory was accurate, I'd fill my tires with concrete and get 600mpg!

    KO2 Load C or General Grabber AT2 P rated if your not concerned with off roading. That's my vote.
