    Drop bracket lift and booger welds
    You might need wheel spacers to not rub the frame at full lock. I did with the stock 5 stars. Depends on your back spacing really. The rubbing wasn't terrible but I fixed it real quick with 1.25" spider trax.

    What's the best way to install an e brake when the OE one was deleted due to an aftermarket axle? I think my choices are a manual line lock or a transmission/driveline brake. Any input or help?

    I say wait till they are on and see. Mine were beefy MT's and it was the lugs that were rubbing. You might be fine. Craigslist and the wheel/tire section of the classifieds section on here are your best places to look if you in fact do need them.

    Generic meaning what? Generally I heard if you properly install spider trax or all pro they usually work really well. They kinda hold your wheels on so not a place to cheap out at.

    Hardly anything. I'm running all pro ones which are just generic ones. Been totally fine. Borja is a good one too and affordable.

    Proper torque and extended lug nuts help a ton

    The original question I was responding to was 'what is the best location'. I took this to mean what is best for optimal performance, not for convenience of location. SWR is only part of this equation. A low SWR will allow your radio to last as the output wattage is not trapped as heat in your radio. But without a good ground plane, your tx range will be restricted. If your mate is right behind you, this matters little. But he is a ways down the trail, around a corner or otherwise out of 'line of sight', he may not may not hear you or you him.

    By generic ones are you talking about the cheap no name ones found on places like Amazon and ebay? Those usually have subpar hardware, lower quality aluminum, less manufacturing tolerances. There have been many cases when they have failed.

    Drifters use hydraulic ebrakes to lock the rears while drifting. Would anyone know or think this could work for my ebrake?

    I seen someone on here attached a rotor and caliper to his transfer case/driveshaft somehow and used that.

    Shouldnt ever really trust hydraulics to hold things over periods of time.

    Line locks hold electronically and will drain the battery and put too much heat and strain on the solenoid over long periods of time.
