I just try to eat as much as possible while getting atleast 200g protein and 250g carbs

 

My macros lately have been 155p 350c 55f
That's 2500ish. Also some lat/back pics.

Went to my beach gym for the 2nd time. Got reprimanded for 'dropping the heavy weight' I was doing calf raises in the smith machine with 315 on the bar. They were just not used to people sitting down heavy weight. It's loud whether you drop it or not. I went and apologized to the lady when I was done and she said I was startling her because her office walls were too thin and it would shake every time I put the weight down. Sounds like that gym is just lacking real men

No clue. I know it's not over 1000 for sure lol. Also I don't deadlift

 

Just kidding man...but seriously, why not? DLs have huge advantages even for "aesthetic" lifters. Traps for dayzzzzz. I can understand if the answer is injuries.

 

I have a reoccurring injury in my lower back that keeps coming back. First time I re injured it was doing Deadlifts. Kept me out the gym for awhile. After that I said never again hehe.

 

My old workout partner had something similar. He would try to explain it to me but could never put it in words well enough. Anytime he would tweak it he'd be sidelined for a month. He doesn't do heavy barbell squats or deadlifts at all anymore. Pretty much only does goblet squats now, but he does do back extensions at least.

 

I started squatting again recently, so far so good. I'm scared to do conventional Deadlifts but I wouldn't mind doing sumos. My other gym has rubber plates so maybe I'll try this weekend.

 

just finishe MURPH. wore a 25# weight vest and finished in 32:27. did the first mile in 6:12 the last mile in like 7:30 and the 100 pullups, 200 pushups and 300 airsquats in like 18ish.

airsquats were the hardest they have ever been for me today, just gy back into mountain biking after taking a 2 year break and my legs were dead from a 10 mile climb and 30 cleans at 265 yesterday....

They had a special a couple months ago where you got basically half of what you spent back on a gift card (spend $100, get a $50 gift card. Spend $50 get a $25, etc...) I did that for my first purchase. Then they did it again and I used my gift card to by another. Then they just did another special last week (and it may still be active through today) where you get a $20 gift card with any purchase (the code was "giftcard"). So basically I spent $100 on 4 shirts originally and since then I have bought 4 more shirts for free and kept getting gift cards each time
