What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Looks good with the black bezel. I just picked up a set from another member, but silver. I thought they'd sit a little more flush than that. It'll be a while before I get them installed so hopefully somebody comes up with something to fill the void; if not, I might try to come up with something.

I was just going to plastidip them originally but decided to have BD swap them.

Haha, good eye. The lady at the DMV referred to these as the "naughty plates" I never noticed it until she mentioned it and by then she had them entered in the system...lol

Impressive. Initially, I thought I was going to have some issues with blinding oncoming drivers and was hesitant to use them. I tried them this morning on the way in to work while it was raining. The lights worked really well and no feedback from other drivers.

Installed a RC leveling kit. The spacer was 1.5" so you would think it would only lift the truck 1.5". To my surprise it lifted the front 3". Not ideal to have a bulldog stance but after I get the Ranch Hand grille guard put on I'm hoping the weight might bring the front down a tad. If not I'll just get a 1" block to raise the rear suspension.

Took my truck into to the dealership this morning and had them check out the transmission. After a hour and a half wait they said everything looked fine. But for some reason I don't think if all is good that it would of took so long.

 

They probably saw something was wrong, fixed it on the sly and then said nothing is wrong.

 

They probably pulled your truck in a service bay then worked on someone else car/truck and never bothered checking your transmission fluid. I had that scheduled to do on my truck and they were going to have me a loaner car ready when I stopped in for my 6 month check-up. Once I got there the next week I told them not to bother checking it. They had my truck for 45 minutes and I bet they didn't do anything. They said my U-bolts were torqued properly and my truck does not have grease inserts. I told them not to rotate my tires and not to fill my windshield washer fluid. I thought they had my truck long enough but truth be known I bet they didn't even check the oil. He did tell me, "Oh those 4 cylinder engines don't use a drop of oil." I try to think they did there job or I would not sleep at night.

 

I'd like to see how you did this. My attempt works fine with rain, but not so good on a dusty road.
Did you mean Tundra? Or Tacoma?

Yea i want to say i did some motorcycle riding outside of Mary's Vill. I think i heard rumors they had shut down most of that though... And yes my truck feels right at home here in Montana! Here is a pic down by the river were i do some fishing and its only about 15 min from were i live..

 

This is a couple weeks old, but stayed in a cabin in Broken Bow, OK for a few days! If you haven't been, it is beautiful down there!
