I changed it last and torqued it to factory specs...I suspect it has more to do with the fact they use a copper washer...add salt and water and two different types of metal and it will = galvanic corrosion...

Does hitting a buzzard count? Those sons-a-bitches are bigger than you think! Fortunately for me, the only damage was a taco shaped license plate. The buzzard was not so lucky!

My father hit one, it bounced off the hood of his truck and hit the windshield (windshield didn't shatter), and for a few months his winshied had a oily film on it. I guess buzzards have natural oils to keep there feathers dry.

Got bored and finally installed parts I received over a month ago. Superbumps and black screws from Vin.

I never understand how people get parts in and wait long periods of time to put it in (nothing against you). My ass is out there with a flashlight getting work done until midnight! Maybe I have a problem...

I couldn't find the larger hex sizes anywhere. I couldn't find an easy out big enough either. I gave my mech a $20 for his time. He wasn't going to charge me. I almost used a hammer and cold chisel, but my mech squeezed me into his busy schedule the morning I called.
