I'm running OME 885s with JBA UCA on the same tires, originally with OEM rims which rubbed the UCA.. From what I could find the OEM rim is a 5.25" backspace, putting way too much tire inside the wheel well. I did not want to run spacers, instead opting to pick up new wheels with a 4" backspace, solving the UCA rubbing issue.

I am about to be running 885s on my DCSB 4wd which should put me at 2.5".

Seeing all these high caster and alignment topics would these give me too much castor. Will also be running Stock Sport wheels on 265/70 BFG AT. Will this rub on stock and 265?

Will be soon throwing on TRD Pro "4 runner" wheels and 285 Toyo AT 2, will the offset and tire size cause rubbing due to high castor.

Should I run camburg ball joint uca over these HC for my set up?

I thought the offset was a tad wider on the pro wheels to get the space. Thanks

That's why I was thinking the Pro wheels would work, keep them away from UCA and being a little narrower get the tire in from fenders, inner fender, or CMC. I don't mind some cutting, I just don't want to run UCA with tire.

Also will these HC JBA give too much Caster vs Camburg Ball Joint

Points not missed, was curious if it would keep it in enough and at the same time keep it away for UCA.

Also understand the 3,0,0 adjustments. I just don't want to get JBA and have 3+ caster and rub everything worse like I've seen people post.

I saw these when you very first talked about them. I asked the guys over on one of the fj cruiser forums what they thought of them. I got go with light racing. I have and fj with a toytec 3 inch lift 285 70 17s on stock rims no rubbing. I winter if these will fit or not?

So I just read all 49 pages of this thread and I'm ready to pull the trigger. I'll start by saying I am a complete lay person when it come to the lifting and all the details and math required to do so. Having given the backstory, here are the materials I have sourced- I have recently purchased a full OME kit w/ 885 springs and Dakar set for the rear. I have TRD Pro wheels (4 runner) and 265/70/17 wheels. Based on my reading I assume a lift of about 2.5 inches. I wanted to be proactive and purchase an aftermarket UCA and was very interested in the JBA product.
So (for those still with me), am I destined for rubbing or trimming with these conservative tires and lift? I have searched for the wheel specs (Backspacing) on the TRD wheels and only know they are a 4mm offset??? I know every truck is different but I just want to know what the odds are looking like in my case.
Thanks to any and all responses, I have learned a lot from y'all and appreciate your knowledge and desire to help.
    -Happy Memorial day to everyone.

With those tires I would expect very little rub... although I am trying to picture the wheels.. you may be a tad close to the UCA.. anyone else??

Thanks TACOconvert and Blackout for the response, here is the wheel I was referring to the TRD Pro wheel. Its 17x7.5 not sure of the BS., but I think the offset is 4mm?? Anyway, Im kind of scared to buy the UCA's for fear of rubbing on the tire or wheel. I was thinking of buying Icon coilovers and was worried about those hitting. Shhesshh..........this is too freaking complicated man!

I guess from what I have been reading, the limited backspacing on this wheel keeps the wheel tucked into the wheel well (not pushing the wheel outward?). That's why Im scared crapless to buy anything for fear of the dreaded RUB!

I would say you "should" be good... but keep in the back of your mind the possibility of needing a spacer.. I have .75" spacers on the front with 285s perfect distance from UCA and got pretty flexed out the other day only rubbing my flare a tiny tiny tiny amount

**EDIT: spacers because those look to have less BS than my TX/Pro wheels

Well @rrod actually you might be fine, Marlin states the following on his page:
"Please Note: 255/85R16 and larger tires need aftermarket wheels with 4.5" back space."

So to make sure I am understanding correctly, these should work fine :http://www.stealthcustomseries.com/products/wheels/sr8/

Backspacing is 4". Offset is -12mm

Great, thanks. I didn't want to spend the money on wheels but I really like the looks of these. My camber needs to come in so hopefully these with the JBA arms will do the trick.

Got mine installed today. Going for an alignment tomorrow. So far even without an alignment the truck rides way better than with the stock UCA.

So I'm trying to decide between the HD and standard arms. I don't do any rock crawling stuff, mostly off road trail/overlanding. Thoughts?
