If you go left just after the first staging area and then hang a right down the road they should make it to the top of the mountain that way. I come down that way. They forsure can make that

Oh that sounds like that "fire road" that runs along the 4x4 trail we were on. That's cool there's a bypass!

No I think we have too many Jeep mods as it is.
He probably was looking down on your truck. Jeepers think their jeeps are superior to anything and stock is worthless because most stock jeeps are worthless. Same thing happened to me and Jeremy in Big Bear when I was driving the Tundra. He sure as hell didn't think I'd make it since he didn't.
I would just hit the e brake a few clicks. That's what its there for. As long as you're not going normal driving speeds you don't do any damage.
Hey the lurker is here! I saw you pop up on my post on T4R. How you been man

@kyle11863 e-brake? That's the equivalent of laying on the brakes lightly. On longer decent(s) you could still heat up the rear drums.

Ehh yes and no. It adds a little more brake power. The pedal gives most of your brake power to your fronts while the e brake is only the rears. And yeah they will heat up but not dangerously. You just gotta be smart about it. I honestly only use that as a last resort and only did it that one time because I knew the ABS was going to get me killed
We shall see man. Even if its running by then I may not be able to get it there because of registration and smog. Last time I smogged it, it passed by the skin of its teeth and only after the mechanic fucked with it for an hour

Same here Chris. Please text me if you guys roll out and I'm not there yet.
Note: I've added the waypoints to my GPS for the 4x4 trail just in case it comes in handy. See you'll in the morning.
