I want to do White Rim sometime soon, but want to camp along it, so need to really get on the permits. I was just out there this weekend, did some camping off Potash Road, got my Tacoma stuck, but made it out luckily!

Love the truck! I'm sure I'll borrow some of your ideas for mine eventually!

Damn that's really cool, makes me want a prinsu to put stuff up there, I don't love the way they look on the ex cab though! Is this for charging a fridge?

Well the dual battery set up pretty much takes care of the fridge and other accessories on normal camping/wheeling trips. But those camping trips where I dont drive for multiple days, the solar helps keeping the charge up on the aux battery.

Plus all the cool kids are doing it :D

Got back from Utah yesterday. Went to Zion, Bryce, and Capitol Reef, and camped along the way and ended up in Moab on the 4th day. Too much to even post right now. Here are some pics

Drove out to the Valley of Fire for the first night
    image.jpg

Next day drove to Zion and hiked the Narrows.

    image.jpg

    image.jpg

    Camp the second night:

    image.jpg

Went back to Zion the next day and hiked Angels Landing. Some random chick behind me in the pic, and Nick scared shitless of heights but still hiked a good amount of it.

    image.jpg

    image.jpg

    Camp the 3rd night
    image.jpg

Then headed to Capitol Reef and did a scenic drive along side the canyons. Awesome.

    image.jpg

    image.jpg

    image.jpg

Then we took a 4x4 road that spit us back out onto the main road. This trail was epic. Don't have any pics but @Mademan925 has gopro footage that was on both of our bumpers.

After that we headed to Moab and got in at night to meet up with our camp @jberry813 and @RelentlessFab. Ran Trifecta the next day

    Golden Crack
    image.jpg

    image.jpg

A couple days later the wives ran Fins & Things

    image.jpg

    image.jpg

And the guys ran Hells Revenge. Decided to tackle on Hells Gate with @RelentlessFab spotting

    image.jpg

There's a ton more pics but these are the ones from my phone. Nick and Eric's wives took pics with the nice cameras so we'll have to wait for those. But for now enjoy

Very nice! Great pics from your Moab trip! :)

I'm curious. How you pass wiring from the roof into the cab...

    Thanks!

I used 10awg wire from the panel, used 3/8" heat shrink for both red and black wires to protect from elements and make it look cleaner and ran it down the small gap alongside the windshield and down into the engine bay. I drilled a small hole in the firewall behind the glove and used 1" wire loom as a grommet. 2 sets of wires go through there: one from the panel to the controller, and the other from the controler to the aux battery. I'll take pics of it later

Here's another shot of the 3rd night with my panel adjusted toward the sun

Thanks a lot. I have a project in the future and I'll be passing a number of coax cables into the cab and was curious.

Your truck looks great! Looks like a great campsite. :)

Here's a close up of the wire. Its fits great toward the top, but not so much toward the bottom. Might just get some electrical tape and tape it down. The black won't stick out as much

    image.jpg

And here is the whole I drilled in the firewall that goes behind the glove box
    image.jpg

On another note, got a CBI dual jerry can holder from @Tac0maSteve thanks again!!

I put D rings on 2 of the bolts that hold the bed inverter plug/bed storage.
    image.jpg

    image.jpg

And used another Bolt Lock (keyed-alike to truck) to secure it
