    Curious about which ones to go with as well. My front is lifted 3", and my rear is up 3" but with an aal and a toytec block. I want leafs over the current rear setup for many reasons but I don't want the expos to make me ride a** high unless I'm hauling something.

    I'm still "allpro leaf-less" as I dropped the ball and things came up and then just this weekend ended up doing my front suspension instead. I've decided to go allpro standards or ome dakars, as I think for the expos wanting 400# I can't keep that as a regular load. Timbrens will be there for hauling.

    Well, I wish I had it done already, but in the next month I should have the All Pro Standards ordered.
    For my needs, I don't tow or haul much weight and if I do its just my dirt bike. I'd rather have the extra flex and height from the All Pro springs. Heard a lot of good things about the Dakars, I'd probably be just as happy with them but going with the All Pro Standard leafs.

    I've been going through the same debate... I've read opinions from a couple folks who have had AP expos and Dakars. They liked the Dakars better for their longevity. If you need more height and/ or flex, you can do a shackle flip. My Dakars should be here today...

    Ordered the Expos yesterday. Free shipping this weekend saves you close to $150 which is better than the standard 10% for TW and the occasional 20% sale they do. Also, add "Free Koozie Please" in the comment section and get one free.

    I ordered the longer u-bolts from wheeler's, AP didn't have them for 1st gen guys.

    Yeah that is very true, I'm also looking into the @ARCHIVE shackle flip, I've had my eyes on it for a long time. I need to do it all in steps, my wallet hates me. Also want to get all of that installed so i can measure the lengths I need to order some Icon rears to match my fronts.
    The Dakars will be awesome! Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with either AP or OME dakar. Everyone seems to be happy with both minus the few peolpe that would complain even if they were made from gold.

    Sometime in the near future I'll let you know how the standards feel. Some people with the expos have said it's ok unloaded and some say it's horrible, I'd rather not risk it and for the few times I have weight the standards will do. Monkey proof used to tow his built crawler with the standards and didn't have problems

    Whoops I forgot to reply back to this thread.
    Yeah, I installed my springs. It's in my build thread linked below if you'd like to look over the pictures.
    I wen't with the AP Standards and I love them! They're so smooth. On the road they're great, way better than factory and handle the road bumps and stuff great. Off road they're even better. Just cruising on a trail they're comfortable, stable, smooth, nothing is harsh. Even better yet with some speed they stay planted and hold to the ground well. Handles the bumps and dips and even jumps smoothly.
    Any specific questions about these?

    Yeah, have you loaded up the truck at all with much weight? I don't tow things on the heavy side too often, but I have had some instances this summer where my stock springs were definitely at their limits because of what I'd call modest loads.

    @snowmanwithahat nope, nothing really yet. I know @MonkeyProof used to tow a trail rig on these leaf springs and it worked, how the ride was, I can't comment on that. Maybe he can chime in on the ride with a load. I know I read it did fine but there's no overload spring on these leafs. Might want to look at the OME dakars if towing is in your future.

    The ride is comfy when towing the trailer believe it or not. I am however using a weight distribution hitch that helps with the tongue weight. I also pack a lot of crap when I go out for the weekend without the trailer and can say the ride is pretty damn good considering with what I carry. I have been happy with my Expo Springs since the very day I got them.
