The duratracs get LOUD. At least mine did and I rotated them every 5k. The K02 might as well, but I going to be trying those next.

Yes sir. I'm so happy I discovered this color. I was dead set on MGM or white until I found an AC OR 6MT that met all my criteria except color. Once I saw that thing in the sun I was sold. Can't wait to see how she looks with the trail teams and color matched grill surround.

I think she'll look awesome. I wasn't looking for a spruce either. To be honest, I originally had my heart set on an AC pyrite mica (2015). Then I saw this used 2013 DCSB sitting on a Honda lot.

I think the cool thing about the spruce is that on overcast cloudy days it looks olive drab green but then in the sun she sparkles and looks totally different.

Also, it seems it is a pretty uncommon color. I see tons of pyrites, magnetic greys, whites, but rarely do I ever see another spruce. There are only 2 others that I know of that I've seen driving around my area.

There's a drone with Duratracs on the highway, but it isn't too loud (way quieter than the Firestone Winterforce snow tires I had before).

Keep in mind with 265/75-16, there's a 3% odometer error, so multiply your measured mpg by 1.03. It's possible to see better mileage than stock on the highway.

My votes for dirtytracks. Mine have been pretty good.

I had the Duratracs on my last Jeep. I was very happy with them. Best tire I have ever had in the snow. Rarely needed 4WD. Sidewall are supposedly thin, I never had an issue. Little loud but that doesn't really bother me.

Put the KO2s on my Tacoma. I have only had them about a month. Quiet ride. So far they are great, almost as good in the snow as the Duratracs.

I think both are good options. I only went with the KO2 on my Tacoma so I could try them out and see what the hype is about.

BF's are silent and duratracs arent. Theyre not loud but they have a hum

I had BFG KO's then got duratracs... looking now to get rid of them and go to KO2's... theyre way quieter and look better IMO. my sidewall is kinda greyish on the duratracs and that never happened on myBF's

Here's how it was explained to me.... if you plan on off roading you truck duratacs are not for you.... that came from this forum. It settles a two month long debate for me Ă´ which tire to get, I ran 265/75r16 ko e for a year and it took every thing I could throw at it, snow, mud, rocks, dd use, desert. Currently I run 315/75r16 ko2 and they surpass the ko immensely happy with them ..

    Nothing noteworthy
My '14 taco came with 265/70/16 KO's but in the OG flavor. I switched them out for Duratracs and I actually like the hum from the tires on the road. They are louder than my BFG's were that is for sure. It makes me happy to hear the hum but that is just one man's opinion. I also have the TRD exhaust so I am used to sound in the cabin. I was leary about going from my KO's load range D to load range E in the KO2 in 265/75/16 so I went with 265/75/16 Duratracs in load range C. I love them so far. It has only been 600 miles since I swapped but if they get even louder than they are now, so be it.

My 265/70/17 load C duratracs were loud from day 1 and only got louder (very load later in their life). I couldn't ever answer the phone while driving on the hwy. They had good off road traction, but I drive to many hwy miles to ever get those again. My 285/70/17 Load E K02s are quieter than the duratracs ever were. It's like night and day. The duratracs may have had a little better mud traction, but the K02s are a lot tougher. I think I'm even getting slighter better mpg with the larger and heavier k02. At the very least it didn't get worst.

That's some exaggeration right there. So loud you couldn't make a phone call..

Everyone is just telling you to buy the tire they have on their truck. They're comparable, which can you get a better deal on?
