I've had 2 second gens and a third gen. They're both great trucks just the new one is a little more refined just as you'd expect it to be. If you have the money to do it go for it and you will be happy with it.

 

I think it's funny when people tell you what truck too buy that only drives it to work and back and hasn't thrown so much as a pillow in thier bed.

I won't bring up the grill thing though. Or leaf springs or front vibes or rattles or leaks or broken windows or reprogramming issues

 

Same shit as all the 3rd gen owners complain about. It's only a small margin of the owners who have had one issue or another at some point. Like the guy above you, I've had absolutely 0 issues and I'm not easy on my truck at all.

 

First year of a truck that's growing on me. I don't mean they are a pos.

Something...I have zero problems with the 3rd gens....a lot of 3rd gen owners and I said "ALOT" not "ALL" are constantly on the defensive with anything said about a 3rd gen ...IF you ask me, that's being unsure.
