    Dang it!! Lol I bought 5w30 cause that's what our motors use and my wife's truck says to use 0w20 lol. Guess that's what I get for assuming. Do you think it would hurt or would you just go swap out the motor oil?

    Got one side installed. It's been hard to find time to get them all done at once and it took a lot longer than I expected to weld the legs plates and gussets on. Got the other side all welded I removed it to paint so maybe this weekend I'll have them both on.

    Sorry, I was driving and had to make it short. But from these 4 years of changing oil, only go heavier if you're burning shit tons of oil, otherwise you run risk of burning oil through seals that you shouldn't, spinning bearings, oil pump failure etc...

    It's cool. I'd rather not mess anything up because of the wrong grade of oil. I was just lucky that a shop was willing to trade out my oil for the correct oil even tho I didn't buy it from them.

    Well I finished the oil change in my wife's truck and replaced the oil in my rear diff. Tomorrow night I'll replace the front diff oil. :cool:
