    Our brakes are hydraulics and we all trust those with our lives

    I'm trying to understand what a brake caliper on the t case would do? How's that work?

    Its just like a disc brake but on the drive shaft.

    heck just put it in park and hope auto tranny dont break and for a stick shift just leave it in gear lol or the cheap way is to get a wheel chock lol

    Hydro can lose pressure over time. If you have a hydro ebrake and leave it for 8 hours, it's possible that it won't be engaged due to pressure loss.




    That being said, my ebrake is fucked and I just leave it in first gear. Point the wheels at something you wouldn't mind the truck running into and you're good :beavisd:

    k so these will work for the tundra brake upgrade correct as i called them and they said i would but yet it says it for stock...??? he said no mods just want to make sure is all... tyvm

    I have a remote start that I enjoy. Runs only when stick is in neutral. Additionally I have a turbo timer so my truck can run for some time after I get out. I do not want to use a ghetto chalk or leave it in gear, although those are viable options for some.

    I don't think you need any other lines. The OE should just plug into the tundra caliper. Definitely not necessary

    One that I had in that general vicinity was my air bag assembly (either the bracket or the module) rattling. Most noticeable when on the throttle. I took some extra weather stripping I had laying around and crammed it in between any space that I could. Noise went away.

    No doubt the center of the roof or your hood is the optimal location.

    Pinch weld is somewhat flat, wheel well liners are trimmed and the washer reservoir has been removed. Damn pump broke apart when i was taking it off. I guess no more washer for me!

    Tires rub on the frame a little at full lock at ride height.. might put some 1/2 in spacers on to fix that.

    Fox 2.5’s up front, icon 2.0 rear shocks, stock leafs, !Meso map and dome lights make all the difference in the world!
    tell me if im crazy, but i want to swap a rear locker axle from a TRD packaged Tacoma! and wire up the stock unit... dose anyone have a tread to somone who did this or knows that this is possible?

    You asked so... Yes you're crazy... can the axle swap to add a factory e-locker be done? yes... I remember seeing a thread on here about it. Didn't seem to hard if you can find all the right parts.

    I've also wanted a good answer on this. The conclusion I've come to is no, but for the cost of OEM BJs and driveline parts you can get 3 or 4 of the same part aftermarket. I think the OEM LBJs are 120 a pop and the Moog or 30? I might be off on that, but I remember it being a significant difference. There are videos floating around of people taking apart various makes of BJs and comparing them to OEM. The OEM seem to be better made/designed across the board, although it certainly comes at a price.
