Neat. I still wouldn't trust wireless, but that's your call.

 

Its wired and wireless, so I'll always have the option and the lead to the controller is super long so I could plug it in and be able to bring it in the cab.

 

Having the controller be long is nice, but wiring controls into the cab just sounds like a better alternative. It's been like that in my dad's FJ for the last decade and it's worked well for the 3 times he's used it Do consider wiring to the cab though.

Seriously though, what's going on with the skid? Is it finished?

I feel you. I'm hoping to build my belly skid in the coming week. If not I'll try and start it on the 5th. Just need to call a few places and ask for pricing.

 

Ill be interested to see it! Building this was a bit more difficult than i thought. Now i gotta start on a rear bumper

 

Belly skid before new rear bumper. Just my 2¢. Would serve you better anyways.

I hate you... and when I say hate, I really mean that I just envious. Nice though! I'm a few hundred off being able to get a Kekunam Sky, so soon.

 

I guess i didn't really get the tent for myself. My parents wanted one for the 4runner, im just going to steal it from time to time haha

 

I feel a little bit better. Enjoy the tent though! It's going to be far better the conventional pop ups.

That's unfortunate. Though I remember there being like 150 orders for tents in the CVT GB. Each tenting being 1.5k plus. Figures it might take forever .

 

That and there was some issue with one of the straps that has to be redone on each summit series..

 

So that's why it's taking so long. Well, CVT is in Oregan and you're in Arizona, not like you could just drive over and look at them. That's part of the reason I went with Tepui. They're in Santa Cruz also I'm just about an hour away. Plus Adam told me that it would be easy for me to just schedule a time to pick one up when I do purchase one.

 

Mehhh, ill just wait haha. Thats a long drive.
