@stlntaco you're making me blush. Considering how hard I had to serenade my wife to buy them, I'm gonna have to pass, but you're always welcome to come east and play some music w me, under my window

You do realize that probably 80%, maybe more, of Tacoma owners think they are modded out with vent visors and Weather Tech floormats, right? Meaning those owners don't give a rip about your concerns.

Therefore, Toyota doesn't care about your concerns either. 'Cause people are buying them, they are making money, and their stockholders are happy.

Be thankful there is an aftermarket to design components for modifications that allow changes to your taste.

That's it. Modders, particularly those want bigger tires, higher ground clearance, Whatever else to make their rigs ride and handle worse are a very small minority. Why the hell should a manufacturer cater to you few guys? And I wonder, as I read these forums with hundreds of threads started to ask about 6" lifts and 33 tires if the posters actually run off the road to any extent.

Exactly, Toyota does not care about his personal tastes. That is why I have been a Buick guy since day one. You want 18 inch wheels and 30 inch tires, then you got it. Their customer service is amazing and they will go out of their way to make you happy. The new Buick Encore is a beast offroad and on road as well as being one of the sexiest vehicles ever produced.

Because the exhaust smells really good. I like to spend my weekend nights sitting in the garage with the doors shut and my truck running.
