I still would assume that "Bigger is Better" (use efficient Stacked Plate Tech) with the oil cooler if connected via Trans-cooler-radiator-trans as the cooler the oil is entering the radiator the cooler the radiator coolant too in extreme conditions?

Fat Bobs 2.75 lift and level with short AAL, 16x8 Level 8 Guardian Wheels, 245/75R16 Toyo Open Country ATII, custom trans shift kit(home made), Trans temp. and Vac gauge, URD fuel pump upgrade(going back to stock soon).
I've dropped the pan 3 times about to be 4 times here within the next month. I use the Toyota FPIK I believe it's called. Basically it is the RTV they use from the factory to seal the transmission. That sealant works very well and the tube can seal 2.5 transmission pans. In my case more like 2 pans as I am a little heavy.

Not quite. Too cool is a problem remember shift feel/firmness and lubrication priority all rely on the ATF being at the correct temperature.

Yes! One needs to consider the "Too Cool" but I'm guessing that's more of a concern for Guys who live in the Great White North and not us Good Ol' Boys in Dixieland?

    God bless them all.:oldglory:

Now back on topic. I live in Texas and have driven my Tacoma hard in south Texas ambient Temps over 115 and my temperature never hit 210.

Wondering if this TYC aftermarket is a good alternative to an OEM at half the price....Its custom fit for Tacoma - "plug & play"
