Fair enough not looking to get into a argument and may have been a bit harsh but I don't take safety lightly, if the other driver can't see because of other drivers lack of diligence it grinds on me. End of day its all good just be courteous of others ya'll

Oh man I get it for sure.

Every other truck on my side of town is throwing mad HID light right into my poor little astigmatized eye balls at night. I don't hate anything....

    BUT I HATE THAT SHIT

    I bounce it offa stuff.
Yeah here it's the 10 foot tall diesels on 32" tires. They'll spend a grand on getting dual stacks run up thru the bed but no more than $20 on knockoff chinese headlights.

Installed my LCE header today...and good god in heaven I'm not sure if I would do it again. Snapped 2 of 5 bolts right off the bat while disconnecting the header from the exhaust pipe. Had to take the cutting wheel to 3 bolts on the heat shield and then again on one of the bolts holding my air injection system on. Lastly, I sawzalled all 4 of the stock header tubes off so I could get a socket with good leverage on the lower header mounting bolts, because they were so welded on with rust. Finally got the new header in but the exhaust pipe didn't align exactly right with the header tube so I only got one spring bolt in before I had to rush off to a scheduled event. Now my tacoma sounds like a honda civic (I'll address that tomorrow). I swore this cured me of ever doing any more mods to my truck...but I'm sure by morning I will have forgotten the battle and be ready for the next project.

I plasti dipped my TRD exhaust about six months ago.

This is what it looks like after a Utah winter...six months later. The damage (missing areas) on the rear of the tip are due to me backing into a snow pile from a plow while parking at work when the exhaust was warm.

Could use a little touch up. But I can handle that every spring.[/QUOTE]

Just scored a brand new Supercharger (aka the mythical unicorn) for my 4.0L Tacoma on eBay for $3700! And bought a fit kit from LCEperformance.com for $600. More pics to come next week for install.

well why i wasn't referring to a show truck quality paint job which wouldbe way more than 6k i was just wondering why leave the trucks plain some graffics can always be added. i know alot of people who will spend thousands making their truck trail ready to never take it off roading and that doesn't mean driving up a logging road somewhere i mean serious off roading like many here do. admittedly i have no intention of ever climbing a rock with my truck idk where around here you could even do that. it was a simple question

Creeping up on 10k so I changed the oil. Mobil one looked surprisingly bad for being only 5k so I'm glad I got this done today :D
