Sooooo.....last night, I started craving pizza. While I was in the gym. after the gym a friend and I went to a little pizzeria here in town and I got a calzone. No exaggeration, this thing came out and was about 16-18" long, about 8" wide and 3" thick. Did I eat the entire thing? You bet your sweet ass I did. Am I paying for it today? Abso-fucking-lutely. But it was soooo good. Not to mention the Jack and cokes and bulleit and ginger ales I had later in the night. Fuck me.

 

So I'm sitting here getting a pedicure... And this girl next to me says she loves that her gym is closed on Monday...so she has a reason to not workout.... That thought is just craziness.... If I couldn't go to the gym Monday I'd be pissed ha. Luckily mine is open 24/7 365

 

Sorry Kipping doesn't count.

 

Convenience of having one 5 min away and the closest Vitamin shoppe about 30 min is the only reason I go there. Plus one of the guys who works there is into competing.

But yes the Joe Average is their bread and butter. Last time I ran into a coworker looking for glucosamine and the guy I like steered hiim right, then instead of trying to sell him the Gold Card told him to ring up on mine instead.

I ate a 1000 calorie Burger to celebrate the weight I lost this week. Now time to drink 1000 calories of beer

 

Well I haven't posted much since I found this thread back in November a week after I had surgery, so today was my first day in the gym doing my own workout without my physical trainer. Did arms and damn did it feel good to feel that pump! I've been slowly shedding the weight i put on since surgery but it'll be easier now being able to lift along with my cardio.

 

Signed up for a 30 mile ride ended up saying fuck it and did a 52.26. You only live/die once right. I instantly regretted it.

With a barbell? I forgot to mention that I actually do a lot of stiff legged Deadlifts with dumbells. Nothing too crazy but I get a good stretch in with my hams.

 

My weight room in my house gets rather hot, even with windows open.

Would just a window fan suffice, or a cheap air conditioner? The room isn't in such a place that the AC in my living room helps with the temperature.

 

I would look at swamp coolers or a small AC unit with stand fans to circulate everything.

 

I confronted a DB at the gym who kept dropping the stack while doing cable rows with straps btw and his reply was "I'm 16 days out, I can't help it"

 

Hmm wonder how that works? Straps and dropping it.
