Yeah. I don't have the funds or needs to justify a bed rack at the moment. Just looking for a good way to secure the essentials and I'm trying to work with what I have.

Look at styles like these. http://www.relentlessfabrication.com/products/05-tacoma-bed-rail-hi-lift-mounts

All-pro makes some also, I'm sure many manufactures do. Insain might be able to build a set also. Not sure if they plan on doing small things like that though. Might ask @SilverGhost

Ok cool, thanks. I'm trying to stick to Amazon at the moment just because I have gift cards laying around. Do you know off the top of your head if there's any available through them that work?

I'm trying to look now but the search terms get goofy.

(I know I don't know you, but I'm going with the general feels I've gathered from this thread)

From what I have been reading, don't them them spin tires when on the Treds. It will tear the lugs off. I have a pro set on order

Looks like ours here. We have one dealership that slaps on crappy spacer lifts and the other dealer puts on good ToyTec stuff. It's like two opposite worlds lol

I can hear it here better. It almost sounds like fuel trim switching but it is too fast. It doesn't sound mechanical.

@Wes0311 I looked saw those when I was looking and it appears they might work, but I couldn't get a definitive answer either so I went Allpro. I also went AP because I needed to be sure the hi-lift would sit below my bed cover. Those Amazon ones looked like the jack would sit too high if that is a concern for you.
