If it was an option on all trims: Hood scoop or No Scoop

  1. Love it / Gotta Have it

Silver,I just think it makes it a little harder to see over the hood is why I don't care for it.Up to 6400 miles, used to it now I guess.

I liked the look and had a chance to do a swap but when we met up and I sat in his truck I didn't like how much it obstructed the view, especially the right front corner. In the end I kept my OR hood. My lift and other mods are functional and make it look bad ass.

I saw those. Finally it's functional, but not worth the price.

You also have to take in consideration the cost for the paint job, I paid $200 plus Valspar paint was about $40

I found my hood scoop distracting and annoying. It looked like an eroded sand castle sinking into the Quicksand hood. I traded hoods with a guy who had a TRD OR and we both got what we wanted. If it had been a little shorter I might have been OK with it, but the 3rd Gen scoops are a 2 level contraption with the hood rising up and then the scoop on top.

I wouldn't mind having a scoop. But i wouldn't buy a sport instead of an OR just to get one

It not even about that for me. I just hate when they put things on that's aren't functional. My wife's car has stupid fake vents on the hood and I hate it!

Two Hundred US dollars, plus $40 for paint other shops wanted closer to the $1000 range

    Let's see....

    1. Does not provide additional air.
    2. Reduces visibility.
    3. May actually increase glare requiring a sticker to reduce.
    4. Some think it looks cool regardless.

    Nope, not interested.

Mine has a scoop. Never really cared for them, and it does make it a little harder to see over the hood. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, but I would have
    preferred a regular hood.

Has anyone attempted to make the scoop functional? Is it possible?

Had one on my 15' Tacoma. Liked the looks of it. Hated the glare off the backside of it. So I was kinda glad my 16 didn't have one.
