Finished my front light bar setup. Might add some 4"-7" round HIDs/Leds by A pillar/hood.

Gosh idk, years. And that bar looks almost identical to the one I had. Looks like they changed up the housing design. But the optics look almost the same as they were on the one I had. Looks like they have little glass lenses in front of some of the leds now. For the spot leds I'd assume. And hard to tell, but it looks like they still have the same 6k Kelvin color to them. It was really noticeable on mine. Had that ugly blue tint to it.

Also, still overpriced. $300 for that bar is kinda pricey. For what you get. There's much better ones out there for cheaper. Look back on this thread. There's some single rows I posted that have 10watt leds. Clones. Specifically the vision x evo prime clone. Or their newest 'xpr'.
    Here's a 30" evo prime clone
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/131777981168

Remember even though the lumens is listed as 12k o whatever it is, which isn't much lower than the one I posted, it's all about the optics used to drive those lumens. The evo prime has a 3d design. Where the sbl one doesn't use optics at all really, just reflectors. Making it have sooooo much more USEABLE light.;) That's my .02 anyways.

This is just my 20" 3d single row. There's also about, idk, 10% of full light output not captured on camera here. There's even more ambient/spill lighting than it shows here.

Again!? Man that's stupid. Well, I'd at least contact them and see if they have any lenses you could get for the Amber ends. Because those are interchangeable I believe. Kinda doubt they have em as those are clones and Also wired to be lit independently, but worth a shot seeing as you didn't get what you wanted. Or screw that and cause hell. Get them to send the right one. I'd be pissed at your point. Some crappy inventory or plain ignorance on their end. The only problem is not really being able to put out a bad report against them to sway others from buying. That is the risk we take though buying from eBay. Seems like lately more are having bad luck with sellers. Fortunately I've had good luck myself. I was worried about issues like this whenever I made a purchase.

I'll try and wire it up tonight, but I think they're decent lights. Only issue is the Amber, which isn't that big of a deal I guess. Amber doesn't really go with my truck, but they may. Or I could get the lenses.

I messaged them so maybe they'll send me extra lenses and a discount? We'll see.

Funny right as I hit post, they messaged me saying to take a picture and they'll send clear lenses

Id just get the lenses. On those they just unbolt really easily.

I was considering getting one of the amber ones for a rear light for a while. Use the ambers as dust flashers. Found a better setup though.

According to the link, it was a 3mode. Their email states the light bar I received was made for the single mode and they just put the wrong lenses on it. Here are the photos of the internals. I'll mount and take night shots tonight. All in all, I think these are legit.

Nice. I'm really looking forward to seeing the output on that.

Finally got ahold of mine I bought a while ago. Can't find anything on this part number though.

Looks like they are Osrams but no idea if they are 3,5,7w. Supposed to be 7w but I doubt that. Is bright though and will work for my purpose it appears.

From what I've seen on the last two I've pulled apart, the board indicates how many watts the leds are. For instance, yours says 60w. So if you have six leds on that board, then each led is 10w......Just a theory so far

I regret taking this apart. Getting it back together isn't fun

anyone know if the wattage can be tested like with a multi meter? Or amp draw? I don't have one but want to get one for testing purposes. As well as a lux meter eventually too.

Edit. Nvm, YouTube's here to save the day:D

Gonna figure out how to actually use one, heh. Do some testing on my current lights. And will be useful for future purposes so I don't have to deal with disassembling bars like you guys are doing. Ha. I had to disassemble one part way in the past for other reasons and it wasn't fun So I know too, heh.

I'll have to look. Haven't browsed lights in a while. See if there's any new goodies I can find. But I do know of some (the type I like) 5" 40w.
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/281957156679

But I'm sure there's some smaller 40w pods.

Well the smaller 3" (or 4" Not sure as it says both in the add, but look to be 3") are the osram 4d and will be good for spot lights.

The other ones (4.5"/5" ) are 3d and will have more spread. There should be some flood of those available too. And the floods have a diffused lens and will have a crazy wide and subtle spread of flood light.

There's some other 4d pods that have 3w leds, 6 of em, that I've seen from another member and the output looks awesome on em, and are cheap. And the beam isn't super tight, got a nice throw and spread to em.
