I know, we're only having fun. I don't get all the hate towards the 3rd gens personally. I'd drive one.

Nice wheels..so did these fit without a lift on your truck? I'm trying to a set of either the sport or offroad wheels for my father inlaws 2011 SR5. they should be able to fit without rubbing? Thanks!

Looks good, guys. I do think for a stock wheel, the 3rd gen OR wheels are very nice. I didn't even think about fitting them on a 2nd gen. But it does look pretty sweet. Well done.

    Oh yes!
I found some for dirt cheap with tires. I just may need to swoop.

In that case do I need to mess with TPMS or anything?

damn. I was too slow and missed my chance for TRD OR wheels with tires. Only 10 miles. $500 local. killer deal, considering i'm sure I could get a few bucks for my current wheels and duratracs.
Unfortunately, he text me back this morning said they were gone. :(

hi guys, need some help with the 2016 wheels. I'm about to get a set of 2016 OR wheels with stock tires for my father in laws 2011 DCLB Prerunner 4.0 He's got the standard steel 245/16 wheels. I know the 2016 will fit but 2 questions,
    1. Will his stock 2011 TPMS sensors swap over?
    2. Will i need to get a new set of lugs if his lugs are the acorn style rather than the one with washer and wheres the bet place to get those? Dealer or gorilla?
    3. Will the 2016 lugs work on his 2011?

    thanks fellas!

The steel wheel sensors will not work on aluminum wheels, however the 2016 lugs should fit the 2011. You cannot use the acorn style lug nuts on Tacoma aluminum wheels.

so i'll have to get sensors for the aluminum wheels and have the old sensors deleted and new ones programmed? Anyone know what dealers charge for this? or if that obd tool will work?
