I still have 2.5 hrs of footage to edit.

Just a few RAW scenes from a few weeks ago.

I'm trying to edit the video and add music. Not having any luck. What are you using to edit video?

It's cause he saw all the cool drones at Hotel Tacoma :D

I use Adobe Premeire Elements, it's a little pricy though and sometimes more than most would need editing.

Yeah, Your input made a huge difference in my choice. I would like to use a free app, or one I already have. Ive tried using Windows Movie Maker, and its not working.

To get any "quality" video you're going to have to pay for it. I use Final Cut Pro for my videos and Adobe LightRoom for my photos. You can try to use GoPro's software but you will have to convert your files. It's free but not real powerful. If you own a Mac then Final Cut Pro is $299 but Adobe has gone (or is trying to go) to a subscription based system. I'm not fond of that system. I was able to get Adobe LightRoom 6 without a sub though. Either way... any good quality software that is going to give you the results you want is going to be relatively expensive. Movie Maker won't cut it at all.

Adobe premier is the way to go. It can easily be obtained through torrent websites, but if anyone asks you didn't hear it from me...

Yup... both Premier and Final Cut Pro are excellent programs. I chose Final Cut Pro over Premier but LightRoom is my go to Photo program.

Whichever you decide to get... there is a learning curve to each program that you will have to learn. You can't just jump in and make a "quality" video without understanding how the programs work.

I found them both similar. Since I've got a MacBook Pro I went with Final Cut Pro. Very easy to use with a shit ton of features. But... I decided on LightRoom 6 for my photo editing since I don't think there is a better program out there.

Plus Bracketed HDR is kind of fun to play around with, with clouds

    HDR%20Cloud%204_zps8vrgxqxv_d900d36e45014c9906532978a49581cb83784861.jpg

    HDR%20Cloud%202_zps2clordde_ef14b070cc4760035ed35a4e498cafdcec6df7a5.jpg

And works beautifully with standard RAW files (which is all I take).

The good thing about Adobe Premeire Elements is it's a step down from Adobe Premeire Pro. So it's cheaper and has a little less of a learning curve. Plus it has a Guided Mode and an Expert Mode. The Guided mode is great for beginners and essentially has templates for you to use to make videos. The expert mode lets you dive into customization a little more. I bought the latest version too because it supports 4K videos which my P3P can do.
