Oh snap....What a GREAT argument- I can't believe how fucked up I was before I read this post. It's SUPER UBER obvious to me now that my life would be a bagillion times better if I had husky liners....even if they didn't cover as much carpet as my WTs do.

Since this thread is turning into an argument about brand - this.

FWIW, my weathertech badges haven't fallen off in the two weeks I've had them.

I agree. All weather mats should hold up regardless off their use. Even more so for ones that cost $160
Worth a call about it. Chances are they care enough about a reputation to do something about it.

And as far as "free advertising" Any aftermarket product I buy I have no problem supporting it. I want others to buy the product too. Now the dealership sticker where you bought the truck... That's another story.

I have a friend in NC that makes the dealer take the sticker off before they finish the deal.

NO-You don't CLEARLY have a defective product. You have a sticker that fell off.

How often have you cleaned the mats since you got them?? If snow or ice in the mat melted while you drove and then REFROZE over night...That could really easily turn the adhesive brittle and then the stickers will come off. And that's CLEARLY NOT a defect in the mat.

I'm saying that taken care of properly- They will last...and the way you care for them is dictated by the environment you are in. And nope...I'm still pretty convinced you are getting your panties in a wad over nothing.:D

And to matt right above me- The mats are holding up....No sticker on the mat doesn't do ANYTHING to the all weather proof-ness of the mat.

The weathertech badge looks pretty classy if you ask me. I would be disappointed if it came off. But it wouldn't surprise me if it did. It gets stepped on, sits in salty water, gets pressure washed at the car wash etc. They should maybe just emboss their logo right into the mat.

there's a lot of crying going on about a simple sticker/badge, whatever you want to call it.....

i've had my WTs for over 2 yrs now. i've put them thru hell and have removed them numerous times to wash them. my badges are still intact.

i don't see how people can compare a $2000 paint job versus a $0.20 badge. ridiculous if you ask me.

if your life has circum to worrying about a little badge, then i think you need to reevaluate your priorities. you don't have a defective product. just because it says made in America, doesn't mean that it should be beyond 100% quality.

i'm with Brunes on this one......

I don't don't think anyones crying here. We're just making observations. The badge should not be coming off and I'm sure if the OP contacted weathertech about it, they would agree and send replacement badges.
So the OP should do that.

Well, looking back through this, the OP says both badges came off. I've had my Weathertechs for 2 years now and have had zero issues. I just wonder since both badges came off so soon maybe some defective glue was used in that production run...some glues can go bad if allowed to freeze. The OP says they came "off"...if that means you still have them, just rough up the mating surfaces a bit and spread some of the adhesive called "goop" on both surfaces, let dry until tacky, then re-attach badges ...they won't come off again.

One of mine was off when I took them out of the box they came in. I pushed it back down in the little slot for it, and it has stayed in there. I was a little disappointed that the sticker had come off before I even took it out of the box, but the coverage they provide was a major upgrade from the cloth mats. I'm really happy so far with them.

And who really cares about a stupid sticker. That is ridiculous. If the product was failing in some way, even minor, fine. But who honestly has time in their life to waste energy on bitching, posting, emailing, and being genuinly bothered by this?

with 160 dollar floor mats, the badges should stay on till I decide to take them off. No matter how insignificant the badge is, its the fact of the matter that a piece that shouldn't be coming off did and only after 2 weeks. call weathertech and tell them, i've heard they have great customer service. report back with their response.

If the man wants his sticker...give him his damn sticker....he paid for his mats, he wants a sticker.

Who cares about the rest of you and your non stickered mats, HE wants his sticker, don't tell him he's petty for wanting what he paid for. (He paid for mats WITH the badges...they left weathertech like that, they should stay exactly how they shipped them)

I lol...the mats still work. He got them as they were built...Things happen after you install stuff.
The sticker could have come off for any number of reasons...getting bent outta shape that it's made in the USA but the sticker fell off isn't worth it. Nor is it a reason to gripe on the whole brand.

And super glue is way easier and probably more effective...Jus saying...

Yea the mats work but still...i'd be pretty annoyed if mine fell off considering that they have special indentions for the stickers. Personally I would just goop adhesive them back on....but everyone is giving the man hell about his floormats, the sticker shouldn't have come off within 2 weeks...no one can argue that. If weathertech can't keep them on longer than that then they shouldn't be putting them on or they need to be changing how they are attached.
