Literally what the first gen crowd said when the 2005s were released.

The second gens have low transmission fluid from the factory. Erratic shift points plague all the trucks, especially noticeable in cruise control. Low MPG to power ratio. The 4.0 has its share of early engine failure problems, but you didn't look hard enough for them. I know 2 off the top of my head who had motor replacement with less than 20k, one was less than 5k.

Half a dozen in one, six in the other. Toyota definitely lowered quality, but I think you're confused on when that started, by about 15 years.

The good Lord blessed us with the double cab.

I think that's the more important gift. ;)

Is it their fault the op put spacers and coil overs on the truck?

I didn't ask for opinions on my lift. All the bolts are tight and the spacer doesn't make a Damn bit of difference as far as the clunking. The angles are the same as a spring lift. I don't off road the truck and I've run spacers on a handful of truck and never had this problem, nor did I have the problem with this trucks spacer lift for the first 4k miles. I set the alignment as close as I could back to stock and didn't have uneven wear, pulling, wandering, or anything. I hate taking my Truck to shops because they usually mess something up and I'm just trying to get opinions on what to look for. If it is in fact the UCA' s I can see getting aftermarket but only because the size of lift not the type. It's not the sway bar as far as I can tell (No run marks where it has been touching or anything) but I can't be completely sure. I know something was changed because I'm these last ten days my tires are cupping and it's pulling left aside from the noise. NONE OF WHICH WAS HAPPENING THE LAST 4K MILES WITH THE LIFT ON IT AND BEFORE I TOOK IT TO THIS PLACE FOR AN ALIGNMENT FOR MY TRIP. I guess I'll be taking it to another shop next weekend if I can get a couple hrs it's just aggravating because I basically paid this place to create a problem.

NOTE: I have owned trucks that had shocks that bottomed out ans that isn't the noise it's making. It's more like a metal on metal clunking.

still half assed no matter how many miles you've run it, done it before, etc.

Is this all you have to do on a Sunday afternoon? It does suit my needs because it was fine til the shop messes with the alignment. I'll just suck it up and go get another alignment and move on with my life. I don't have time to argue about lift types with Jack asses. Angles are the same on your control arms, balljoints, sway bars, etc... No matter if I use a spacer or a coil. The only difference is In the ride and handling. I do see the validity in the aftermarket UCA's and if I need them I'll get them. Thank you all that had worthwhile suggestions and to the rest get a life!

Did you check the camber n caster. Like aussiek said, usually you will need an aftermarket uca to get get back within specs.
