I'm looking to replace my stock headlights with LEDs. I want the clean white look but everything I've found its saying it's too big to fit the housing.

Has anyone replaced their stock headlight bulbs with LEDs? I need help please!

    2013 Tacoma.

If your purpose is better lighting for off road or dark rural areas, you'll be better served to use one of the many auxiliary lighting options than to dink with the headlights.

If you are just wanting the LED "I'm cool" factor, sorry, but I've got nothing.

I used these for head & fog lights in my 2016. I'm not sure the size on the 13' but I'm sure they have one that will fit. Check their eBay store for a better price than what's on their website.

I have these OPT7's in my truck. They work great and I like them a lot, BUT... there is a LOT of light scatter in the stock headlight fixtures. I live in a suburb and when driving at night these lights will light up the second story of houses, trees, etc. I don't get flashed very often but I am sure that the glare from those bulbs are probably pretty bad.

I popped for these last night:

    http://www.xenondepot.com/h4-philips-12953BWX2-LED-Bulb-p/12953bwx2.htm

They are $199 right now for the set. Yes, I know... OUCH. However, they are supposed to work like OEM light distribution with little to no glare and I'm not dropping $800 for home made projectors (although some look really nice!) with crappy bi-xenon HID bulbs (dealbreaker) or cheap Chinese e-Bay leaking headlights that will be yellow hazed and full of water in a year, and I really don't want to be one of "those guys" that pisses off everyone else on the road due to excessive glare.

I'll report back to you all when I install them.

P.S. - and spare me the "halogens are the bomb yo and you should have them" speeches. Halogens suck. S.U.C.K.
