I'm new to this forum, have made the switch after all years from Ford 150 4X4's, just purchased my first Toyota Tacoma access 2WD, TRD Special. Wanted a smaller footprint in my older years.
My question is regarding the front bumper, can it with stand the low impact that is inevitable in todays parking lots or should one consider installing a guard on sorts to play it safe? If guard is advised, what's available that's not to off roadish?
    Thank you.

Yep plastic. The good thing about plastic is if it gets bumped the dent will most likely pop out.
