Sway Bar Links. They connect the front sway bar to the lower control arms.

    It was a joke :)
People were posting that "turn down for what" stuff and lots of people remove their swaybar and kick it into a dark corner of the garage.

Totally went over my head. My Bad.
    I'm new obviously.
No off roading for me so the sway bar is something I prefer.

I don't offroad much. Mainly due to schedule, but I don't have a sway bar. My truck rides better.

Would you happen to have the radio antenna assembly from your "parts truck" for sale? Mine broke off at the damn car wash. Thanks.

Mario, sorry no, both the one on my truck and the one off the parts truck are broken. I am going to source an antenna I can install on the inside of the windshield.

Today I finally got around to rebuilding my drivers side brake calliper & replacing my sway bar links.

Pic of the calliper, no pins in the pic as I had to sandblast and paint them.
    IMG_3691.jpg

These links are grease-able and much more hefty than the ones I removed.
    IMG_3692.jpg

    Whats next?
The truck is working fairly well.
I have all of the cosmetic surface rust to remove and then repaint the panels that were repaired. I'll probably end up respraying the whole truck.
The drivers front strut assembly is yet to be replaced and the upper and lower control arm bushings have not yet been replaced.
I am also thinking of swapping the engine out for the one I have out of the parts truck. I'll probably leave that until this one is threatening to die.
I would like to build some kind of roof and bed rack system.
    Something like @Box Rocket has.

I picked up some steel and am just starting to get a "back rack" style rack together. I'll probbaly encorporate a roof rack into that.

Someone on here sent me a text looking for the horns off my parts Tacoma. I couldn't find them at the time but I just located them.
I don't recall who it was but contact me again if you want them.

I'm just going to pretend I haven't been away for a long time.

    Today:

I just replaced the drivers strut assembly, that was one for the couple parts of the suspension that I hadn't yet replaced.

I'm finally doing the rear brakes on the truck.
Drums, shoes, hardware & wheel cylinders.

I sourced some new NGK plugs locally for a great price and am finally going to replace them.
I'll probably run a compression test while I'm at it.

I found that the drivers axle has vertical play in it and abnormal rotational play as well when compared to the passenger axle.
Parts supllier has agreed to warranty it.

Hardware that needs to be reused looks pretty rusty...

Just ordered some OME Leaf Springs, Bushings, Nitro Shocks and a brake line extender. (again)
I also have a few other things to do to the tacoma including repairing the rust on the body, remove the drop in bed liner and do the roll on liner, find out why there is a fuel smell happening, I think the sender gasket needs to replaced.
As soon as I get the fuel line repaired and replace the muffler on the 95 4Runner I'll put it on the road and take the Tacoma off for the duration of the repairs. I'm looking forward to driving a 5 speed again.

You will not be unhappy. Are you going to get new coils up front as well?
